New location on Main St. is fantastic!

My husband and I had dinner at Reef's while we were in Park City last week. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the downtown area but we tried Reef’s upon a recommendation from a sales girl that worked up the street. I had the Reef Burger, which had a mixture of beef and lamb on ciabbatta bread with cheese and a tasty sauce. The burger was delicious as were the falafels. We also liked the artsy décor and option to eat outside.

Two thumbs down. Bad experience. Owner pressure to order more than we wanted. Poor service and only fair food, but way overpriced
- Pros: ???
- Cons: Overpriced. Lousy service. Pushy owner
Perhaps the best restaurant in the Salt Lake area

My wife and I are discriminating diners and we've eaten at many of the "finer" establishments in the Salt Lake area. After 3 visits to Reef's Kitchen, we have yet to find an item on their menu that is less than excellent. Service is friendly and accommodating, the restaurant interior is warm and comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other Park City restaurants. My wife and I will definitely become regulars here.
- Pros: Unique and tasteful cuisine at a reasonable price
- Cons: I haven't found one yet
A little disappointing. We drove from Salt Lake to Park City on a recommendation and felt we should have stayed in Salt Lake

The outside of the restaurant is very nice and the inside, albeit small, is charming with great paintings on the wall, nice lighting, and cool video monitors on the wall. The price is reasonable.
The problems I have with Reef's are threefold:
1) My wife and I both felt ignored from the time I walked in the door by the staff. Two waiters and a cook focused their attention on a table of 8, while we were forced to wave an employee down just so we could order our meal, and ultimately, get our check.
2) The entree of couscous I ordered was the most bland soup I've tasted in quite a long time. My wife's tabouli was o.k., nothing great, and very small.
3) If one is going to visit in a party of two, good luck finding a table. They have a number of large tables for bigger groups but due to the size of the place, there are probably only 4 tables for couples. We were forced to sit at the hard bar stools at the bar, while the tables for 4 and up sat vacant the entire time we were there.
- Pros: Ambience, location, and decent price
- Cons: lack of attention, bland meals, and chairs were uncomfortable
The interior looked good at least.

Food tasted ok. Falafels were burnt, and I got bad gas about 2 hours after eating. The hostess was also rude on the phone when I called for takeout. When it comes down to it, it was on par w/ most restaurants in Park City: just good enough.
- Pros: Ambience
Much more than just Middle Eastern!

This is a family resturaunt with a fusion of foods and secrets passed through generations that is presented in an upbeat and personable atmosphere. You will walk away feeling as if you are a part of the family. If you spend enough time at Reefs you will realize how beautiful the family is inside and out. A unique dining experience from the far too often "snotty" attitude that many Park City resturants posess. Oh ya, the food is amazing, save room for the house made chocolate cake!
- Pros: Great music
- Cons: Small
