Hey guys!! I just wanted to tell you thank you for giving me an awesome stylist. I tan there all the time -Love my tan:) and decided to try upstairs. I am a natural redhead but I like to play with my own reds (and believe me, you can go really wrong if you don't know what you are doing). I was cheap one day and dyed my own hair, which turned into a disaster. Now all I wanted is to get it back to my own hue or at least close to it. Cyndi turned out to be a brilliant colorist, she prescribed me a shade that was a bit more brilliant than my own, but nicely faded into my own red. I haven't colored my hair 2 months, and you still can't even tell the difference between my own roots and the color job :) So anyway, if she can fix a complicated redhead such as myself, I can only wonder what she can do with easier colors. You guys rock!! - Tasha
Pros: Best tanning beds & hair cutters in salt lake! Staff is awsome!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY NEW HAIR !!!!! I have never gone into a salon and had someone take so much time to help me decide what would work best for my hair as a result i got the best cut and color i have ever had.
Pros: This is a very large space you would never guess from the out side great decor great stylist.
Cons: you need to arrive about 5 - 10 min early for parking

I have not used the Hair stylists there, but would not after using the beds. Not only do you not get anything, and I mean anything....you are subject to a very rude staff. I have been numerous times, just because it's convenient location and everytime without fail, no tan and no service.
Pros: Location, cool building
Cons: Absolutely do not get a tan, rude staff, waste of time for the working person trying for convenience

Yes, that is what I hear all day long and the simple answer is Monique at Static!!! I am from NY and have only been in Utah for about two years. I have tried several different salons paying prices upto $45 for a hair cut and style but never have I left as happy as I do now that I go to Monique. Her prices are very reasonable for the service and her expertise is apparent in the finished product. Now all I hear are compliments on my hair.
Pros: Close to my office
Cons: parking gets tight during the day

I'm VERY picky about my hair!! Try Static, you won't regret it. I just moved down town and was forced to find a new salon. Tell Cyndi I said Hi!
