I have been going to Cally for waxing for about a year now. I have gone to so many other estheticians all over the state of Utah and by far Cally is the best. She is clean, and nice and makes you feel comfortable. She knows how to do her job and does it very professionally and very well. She is very accomodating and always makes sure you are happy. Thank you so much for ending my search for the best esthetician in Utah. You 100% get my vote!

I found my new stylist!

I found my new stylist in SLC! Just got my hair cut by Melinda and LOVE IT. And the best part? It only cost $30! I moved here from Atlanta, and have had my hair cut at pricey salons there and haven't liked my hair half as much as I do now! Go to Moore Hair Design and ask for Melinda--she's AWESOME!

Great Salon!

I want to send out kudos to Moore Hair Design for their great work. I have been going to MHD since they opened and have always been completely happy with the results. I love Megan, the owner. She has cut and colored my hair for years. She is a wonderful stylist and she is always bringing in new ideas for me and for the Salon to make it even a better experience to go there. The others stylists are also great, and she makes it a point to have very competent yet friendly stylists.

*** Just a note to those who have read the posting from "ilikesnow" about the "$600 bad hair extensions" . If you click on her name, you will find that she has written the EXACT SAME REVIEW FOR 5 DIFFERENT REPUTABLE SALONS located Salt Lake City. I don't know what her deal is, but I do know that she is a first class jerk for trying to trash the name of Moore Hair Design as well as some other great salons in the valley. I talked to Megan, and they don't even do that type of extension any more, so trust me as well as the other people who have written positive reviews. It's a great salon!

Melinda rocks!

I'm never unhappy with my hair when Melinda does it. She listens, has great ideas and is happy to keep working on it until I'm happy. When I'm getting my hair cut, she starts out conservatively then together we keep working on it until it's just right. As long as it takes. I can tell I'm not annoying her or hurting her feelings when I'm not quite satisfied; she just keeps happily working until I'm thrilled.

Kimberly is AWESOME!!

This is the best haircut and color I've had in an extremely long time. She does a great job and listens to what you want and does it. She also gives out great recommendations. The salon is in an old house too so it has a lot of charm. I love it!!

not happy

I hate to write a bad review, Im not that type of person, but I feel like I got duped out of 600 bucks and I have been crying for three days over this. I got hair extensions 8 days ago and they are already falling out, there are clumps of hair all over my house. Not only that you can see the wefts of hair coming through all over the place. That upsets me because I specifically asked her if that would happen and if it would, Id just get a hair cut instead, and she said they wouldnt. The braids they are sewn to have slipped (and vey crookedly) down at least an inch in some places, and completely out on one row. The "hand tied" hair I paid almost 300 bucks for is unravelling all over the place, large peices of it fall out all the time, and threads from it, and the thread that was used to sew them in stick straight out of the back of my head and are visible. They looked good for exactly two days. I was given no instruction on how to care for them, I asked several questions regarding care and was told only the two following things "use a heat protector, and be careful combing them". After washing them, they looked like a horse tail, and I was laughed at (literally) by two girls in a store. I wasnt told to use special products which I have since discovered is a neccessity, nor the other long list of things you must do to keep them looking normal. I just figured out how to care for them, courtesy of a hair forum, and now they are FALLING OUT! I paid 600 bucks to wear hats on my head for a week! Of the three rows only one is still completely intact. I had a consult where none of my questions were really adressed, that should have clued me in. The stylist seemed more concerned with getting paid, than with answering any questions. The place also had the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Its like they managed to find all the rude girls from high school and employ them in one place. Youd be better off buying clip on hair, you would be happier!

I have been going to Kimberly at Moore Hair Design for about 6 months now. I had never been satisfied with a cut and color and used to bounce around from salon to salon until I finally found her! She is incredibly personable and skilled and so far, I have recommended her to 4 of my coworkers, all of which have gone to her and raved about their own experience with her. I LOVE Kimberly and recommend her to ANYONE! Call and ask for her! You won't regret it!

Kimberly Design's Masterpiece Hair!!!

I did a ton of research online and calling around to find the perfect person to style my hair for my wedding day. I'm from California and didn't know who to go to. I've always gone to top people and top salons to do my hair and had to find the very best in Utah for the big day. I'm so happy I found Kimberly Bailey at Moore Hair Design. My hair was absolutely gorgeous!!! She's extremely artistic and talented at styling hair. I recommend her to everyone looking for amazing hair!

I finally found a TERRIFIC hair stylist!!!

I just moved to the area and was in dire need of a color correction and a cut. A friend of my boyfriend recommended Melinda and let me just say....she is truly a genius of a stylist! She not only corrected my home-made mess of a color job but she also gave me a terrific cut. She accomplished exactly what I was asking for with the added bonus of her great sense of humor. She is very competitively priced especially considering her level of expertise and I won't hesitate to recommend her to everyone I know and meet.
