Wonderful Pedicures by Angela H. at InsiderPages

Contributor at Insider Pages

I absolutely love this spa. They make you feel so relaxed. The best thing in the world is their pedicure. Becca is the best person to do the pedicure. My feet that are normally ugly look so pretty when she is done with them. There are alot of other treatments you can have done here. My favorite just happens to be the pedicure. The prices are very affordable for a spa. Sometimes the parking can be hard to get in the Foothill Shopping Center, so arrive a little early.

PROS: relaxing

CONS: parking

Cool place...

by Tallon at Citysearch

My wife got me a certificate for a pedicure, facial, and membership . When I opened it I was shocked she would get me something like that. After I went in I realized every man needs to be a member of the spa club. I will admit i was intimidated when I walked in, but after a few minutes I was more relaxed then I have been in a long time.

Huge fan of The Spa Club.

Excellent services... Excellent staff....

by spadiva99 at Citysearch

I am an avid spa goer. I visited The Spa Club for a massage and to get my hair done. I am shocked to read the reviews. To start with I enjoyed the front desk... While waiting for my appointment (because I was 5 minutes early) they included me and everyother guest in the lobby in a conversation. Which was nice. We were able to talk about other great services they had to offer. Infact I booked one of those pedicure they were talking about for tomorrow. My massage was AMAZING, I saw Melissa, I suggest EVERYONE gets one from her. My massage was only for 50 minutes, but I was told that by the front desk when I booked. Everything ran right on time.

Next I went for my hair, Katie was my stylist... Katie did an amazing job on my short hair cut. She made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. She is a very talented stylist!

When I went to check out I was asked if I wanted to leave a gratuity, I guess their credit card machine needs them to ask before processing the card. However, I found it extremly professional how they asked and appreciated it.

like I said before I WILL BE BACK TOMORROW!

fast food version of a spa

by mindygirl11 at Citysearch

pretty much all i have to say about this place is it is a fast food version of a spa.You are rushed to get in,rushed to get out, service is bad, treatments are sloppy and you leave feeling far worse than you did when you went in.i did not feel pampered, relaxed or comfortable.this is not worth their little membership or whatever.the employees seem miserable and i could pick up on that.i had a terrible massage and a terrible haircut.then the front desk was rude and nasty when i didnt leave a tip.this place is a joke.go to a real spa where you will feel like a princess.i have nothing good to say about this place.

  • Pros: pros?ha ha.
  • Cons: everything!!!from the parking to the treatments to the price to the way they treat you.awful purple walls!

Worst waste of money,EVER!

by spabuff88 at Citysearch

The Spa Club is a complete joke.I had a HORRIBLE experience there.I have been going to get massages and spa treatments for ten years, and I am in disgust!I went into the foothill village Spa Club and first, there was absolutely NO parking.I was five minutes late to my appointment, because I had to walk ten minutes from my parking space. What a great way to start off my pampering experience. The girl at the front desk was snobby and judgmental and extremely fake. She was extremely rude but just dripped with a fake smile.Blonde hair maybe 25 years old. I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for my appointment, which is funny because she was so rude about me being barely late.My massage was ok, but i could not relax as the girl was watching the clock the whole time and i was rushed to get dressed right after. It was ANYTHING but relaxing! I had to go BACK into the foyer which i was dreading because of that rude woman who had made me so uncomfortable. Thankfully, there was a sweet girl with long brown hair that offered me water and made me feel so much more welcome. If it weren't for her, I probably would have paid my dues and walked out before i was finished! I had a pedicure next and it looked like a six year old did it.The polishing was all over my toes and the girl would not redo it. She apologized and explained that she was an esthitician, not a nail tech!!!Excuse me?why should i pay the same amount as someone else who is getting done by an actual proffesional! And shame on the Spa Club for allowing girls to do such horrible nails!I have been to the fort union location as well and frankly this place is NOT worth the discounts. It is so much more trouble than it is relaxing. If you want a spa treatment,go to sego lily or brikhouse retreat.I was treated amazing there. This place is disgusting.I tried to complain to the owner, michele, who could have cared less obviously because i called the number and she is never there and she does not reply to any emails.NEVER go here.

  • Pros: no pros whatsoever.
  • Cons: did not look sanitary, parking, rude staff, terribly trained staff, they rush you

Overall good place

by GAPeach8324 at Citysearch

Not a traditional spa as in there are no locker rooms, hot tubs, or showers. However, the people are all friendly and there is a wide range to choose from for services. I have gotten pedicures, manicures, hair cuts, eyebrow waxes and bikini waxes. I enjoyed all of them and they even gave me extra time for pedicures which was great. The ladies talk to you while they do the service and it is a friendly place.

I also brought a guy friend in for an eyebrow wax and he highly recommended it as a place that "didn't make him look girly". My boyfriend also loved his haircut from them and they did a great job asking what he wanted and doing it a little at a time.

I highly recommend getting the membership as it pays for itself in just a few visits (plus they throw in a $10 off for your birthday!). They also give a first time member guest cards (so your guest gets member prices) which never expire and coupons for discounts on hair and stuff!!

After looking through lots of places, I recommend this one for best value and service in Salt Lake City! Check out all three locations!

  • Pros: service, prices, parking
  • Cons: limited "spa" things (ie hot tub)

minimal effort

by glamgrl2008 at Citysearch

My first experience have a message was Great. The SECOND time I took my mom and sisiter for pedicures and they where awful. The actual pedicure was 15 minutes and I basicly got my nails painted. When I called to tell the manager why my sister and I felt if was horable, she didn't care. THRID time I went my friend and I recieved facials. It was the WORST facial of my life. I had to ask the estitician what she was going to do, because I was starting to wonder if she was going to at least clean my face!! My friend and I both left feeling irritated and riped off. It was suppose to be a birthday present, so it made it that much more disapointing.

Again the managment didn't care and stated that if they wanted a better facial we shouldn't have come to their facility.

I'll never go back!!!

  • Pros: Appears to be a good deal, I would rather spend 10 more bucks and get A+ service vs their F
  • Cons: They don't take pride in their work

I was disappointed...

by jessamaca at Citysearch

I have a membership to The Spa Club. I have been a member for almost two years, but I will not be renewing my membership. I have gone to the Fort Union location and haven't really had any problems or concerns. I recommended to a friend that we get a massage at the same time, so we went to the Foothill location. The experience was awful! We arrived on time, but due to the awful weather and few parking spaces, we were a couple of minutes late getting to our appointments. The girl who did my massage used too much pressure and I asked her to lighten up, but I was sore for days afterward. My friend had such a horrible experience, she is never going back and I feel bad for recommending it to her.

  • Pros: Prices are great; staff was pleasant enough
  • Cons: Sore for days!! and we did not get our full time due to things out of our control like the weather and insufficient parking

DISGUSTED!!!!!!!!

by melody23 at Citysearch

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!! The staff is rude and VERY unprofessional! I was meeting clients there for a relaxing pedicure. When we arrived we were greated with cady, judgemental attitudes. After we checked in they said they could bring us back, we said we would like to wait for the last person to join us. They girl said that we should go back now cause were not going to get our full hour anyway. So then our cleint had to cancel due to work. They were rude and told us that next time they need a 24 hr cancelation, I called the day before to set up the apointments. If their employees are this rude and unacomidating in the front I would HATE to see how they act while doing the service.

  • Pros: Nothing!
  • Cons: Everything, The Location, The Staff, Etc

Great therapists and treatments for a discount

by allysuewho at Citysearch

I went to spa club for their Synergie treatments. The Spa Clubs prices can't be beat! The therapists are great and always very professional. The treatment was wonderful and I really saw results.. The atmosphere is great but it isn't like a traditional spa. You do have to remember that it is a "mini" spa and what it lacks in the atmosphere it makes up in well-trained therapists and great prices.

I would definately recommend!

  • Pros: Great prices.. Great service!
  • Cons: No relaxation room.. Ambience could be better
