Not a traditional spa as in there are no locker rooms, hot tubs, or showers. However, the people are all friendly and there is a wide range to choose from for services. I have gotten pedicures, manicures, hair cuts, eyebrow waxes and bikini waxes. I enjoyed all of them and they even gave me extra time for pedicures which was great. The ladies talk to you while they do the service and it is a friendly place. I also brought a guy friend in for an eyebrow wax and he highly recommended it as a place that "didn't make him look girly". My boyfriend also loved his haircut from them and they did a great job asking what he wanted and doing it a little at a time. I highly recommend getting the membership as it pays for itself in just a few visits (plus they throw in a $10 off for your birthday!). They also give a first time member guest cards (so your guest gets member prices) which never expire and coupons for discounts on hair and stuff!! After looking through lots of places, I recommend this one for best value and service in Salt Lake City! Check out all three locations!
Pros: service, prices, parking
Cons: limited "spa" things (ie hot tub)

My first experience have a message was Great. The SECOND time I took my mom and sisiter for pedicures and they where awful. The actual pedicure was 15 minutes and I basicly got my nails painted. When I called to tell the manager why my sister and I felt if was horable, she didn't care. THRID time I went my friend and I recieved facials. It was the WORST facial of my life. I had to ask the estitician what she was going to do, because I was starting to wonder if she was going to at least clean my face!! My friend and I both left feeling irritated and riped off. It was suppose to be a birthday present, so it made it that much more disapointing. Again the managment didn't care and stated that if they wanted a better facial we shouldn't have come to their facility. I'll never go back!!!
Pros: Appears to be a good deal, I would rather spend 10 more bucks and get A+ service vs their F
Cons: They don't take pride in their work

I recieved a Gift Certificate, when I called to make an appointment the gals on the phone were very polite and helpfull. When I went in for my services the spa was very clean and the staff ran on time for all my services. The massage therapist's were wonderful. I felt very relaxed, and pampered by the staff.
Pros: Staff, Cost
Cons: nothing!!

I have a membership to The Spa Club. I have been a member for almost two years, but I will not be renewing my membership. I have gone to the Fort Union location and haven't really had any problems or concerns. I recommended to a friend that we get a massage at the same time, so we went to the Foothill location. The experience was awful! We arrived on time, but due to the awful weather and few parking spaces, we were a couple of minutes late getting to our appointments. The girl who did my massage used too much pressure and I asked her to lighten up, but I was sore for days afterward. My friend had such a horrible experience, she is never going back and I feel bad for recommending it to her.
Pros: Prices are great; staff was pleasant enough
Cons: Sore for days!! and we did not get our full time due to things out of our control like the weather and insufficient parking

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!! The staff is rude and VERY unprofessional! I was meeting clients there for a relaxing pedicure. When we arrived we were greated with cady, judgemental attitudes. After we checked in they said they could bring us back, we said we would like to wait for the last person to join us. They girl said that we should go back now cause were not going to get our full hour anyway. So then our cleint had to cancel due to work. They were rude and told us that next time they need a 24 hr cancelation, I called the day before to set up the apointments. If their employees are this rude and unacomidating in the front I would HATE to see how they act while doing the service.
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything, The Location, The Staff, Etc

I went to spa club for their Synergie treatments. The Spa Clubs prices can't be beat! The therapists are great and always very professional. The treatment was wonderful and I really saw results.. The atmosphere is great but it isn't like a traditional spa. You do have to remember that it is a "mini" spa and what it lacks in the atmosphere it makes up in well-trained therapists and great prices. I would definately recommend!
Pros: Great prices.. Great service!
Cons: No relaxation room.. Ambience could be better

I am a member of the Spa Club and love it. From my very first visit, I was impressed with the kindness, professionalism and customer service The Spa Club has to offer. I get all of my services done there and I have always been impressed with how wonderful everything is. My favorite things are massage therapy (they have, by far, the best MTs in town), hair extensions and facials. I really don't know how anyone can write a non-positive review, but they may have had that one bad experience. I have gone to all three locations probably over 100 times and I have NEVER had anything bad happen. The added perk is that their prices are fair and affordable, which makes it easier to go more often. I can get two massages for the price I would pay for one massage somewhere else and I don't have to deal with the snooty attitude! Yay for The Spa Clubs!!!
Pros: Perfect services, affordable prices, friendly staff

My husband bought me a full package meddage, facial, pedicure and manicure there for our anniversary and I was COMPLETELY DISAPOINTED. If you are looking for a true spa experience where you are truly pampered and relaxed this is not it. A true spa should have a changing room and robes and slippers for you so you don't have to get dressed in-between services also a relaxation area for you in-between services. You go from a mediocre relaxing message and have to re-dress and go back out to the crowded corner of there lobby/sitting area and wait FOREVER for your next service. I have been to many spas and this was not worth the money or time. All my technitions were very mediocer my facialist was horrible. I usually am not this harsh but it was not what a day at the spa should be.
Pros: ok rates
Cons: everything

Two absolutely horrible waxing experiences! For a regular bikini wax I was kept waiting 45 minutes after my appointment time. Then the technician had forgotten to heat the wax. Instead of offering to reschedule she turned the wax on for five minutes and attempted to wax my bikini line with lukewarm wax--incredibly painful and ineffective. She removed very little hair. When I requested she remove more she told me my appointment was taking too long (she'd kept me waiting for 50 minutes!) and more hair removal would cost an additional $15. Second visit for a brazilian. A different technician left clumps of hair after 45 minutes of waxing. The next day the waxed area was covered in bruises. I have been waxing my bikini line (regular and brazilian) for 10 years never received such terrible and painful treatment. This place is absolutely horrendous!
Cons: Service, Technician Expertise

I really am not sure why this spa does not have a 100% positive feedback- I seriously do think that people simply do not know what they want. First of all, YES, it is an INCREDIBLE deal- all the prices are amazing! Maybe people that want to go to a chop shop don't think they have good prices, but those who know spas know this one is amazing! I love the membership concept- it really makes you feel at home... The staff is NOT ditzy, they are quite professional and are willing to do anything to make you feel as though you had the most pampering experience ever! As for the hair side- I've been going to the Foothill village location since they opened and have been seeing the same girl- so, that comment is not true! I highly recommend this day spa- just try it and you'll see!
Pros: Inexpensive, Peaceful, Pampering
Cons: Hard to park
