Best Kept Secret in Salt Lake!
by peggymullin at Citysearch
We attended a special event one evening at the Boulevard and it was fabulous! So good, in fact, that we are booking it for a private wedding party! Our dinner was incredible. Gourmet dining of the finest quality with many extras. The waitresses were hardly noticed throughout the evening but the entire room was served each course within minutes of each other. Their timing was amazing and everyone was attentive to every detail. Baked salmon, stuffed chicken, strawberry crepes and a fabulous salad were just some of the outstanding options. One of the best parts, though, was as the night grew dark, thousands of little lights lit up the windows and the large double doors were opened onto the street. We felt like we were truly in a fine French resteraunt! The whole night was a wonderful experience! I can't wait to go back!
Wonderful experience

The food is incredible (even the chicken, which they down-played) and thoroughly satisfying. The setting is romantic, perfect for our special date night. And the server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They make sure you have a great dining experience.
- Pros: food, service, ambience
- Cons: can't think of one
Boulevard Of Delights

Boulevard is an ideal location for "special occasion" dinners, though if you can afford to eat here on a regular basis I would certainly recommend it. Their "Boulevard of Cheese" is a perfect way to start a meal, particularly when shared with a large group of people. The Seasonal menus and specials are always delightful and have included in the past such treasures as Fall Spice Crème Brule and Salmon with Chai Black Rice. They boast a fairly extensive wine list, and the staff has always been very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are reasonable when one considers the quality of food, ambience and service you receive. They truly are a hidden gem in the Holladay area, and a visit makes you feel as if you are being transported to an intimate Parisian Bistro.
- Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere
Wonderful food and a great experience!

My sister-in-law and I went to Boulevard for a nice evening out. This was probably the best restaurant I have been to in Utah, since moving from CA 2 years ago. The service was great - our food came out promptly and the extra touches were very nice - pre-appetizer, sorbet to cleanse our pallet, and a nice simple dessert bite upon leaving. The breads and soup sampler were amazing! Don't miss the sweet salad with pears and honey basil vinaigrette. I would definitely go again, maybe for every special occasion!
Great date restaurant

This is a beautiful restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. The food is excellent. The treats they bring you before and between courses are fun. The atmosphere is beautiful. I need to find out who did their interior design. Desserts and soups are fantastic.
- Pros: Great food, Beautiful atmosphere, convenient location
The Perfect Place

The atmostphere is wonderful and service is unobtusive, yet attentive. The small touches add so much: The small bites before the appetizer, the granita between appetizer and main, the small goodie with the check. Do not try to choose one soup, get the sampler. The risotto and the pork are good choices for the main course. The best dessert: the banana and white chocolate frozen mousse. A bonus: it's big enough to share. this is more expensive than most restaurants but it makes a memorable night. You get what you pay for. The one thing that would make it better would be live jazz piano in the background.
- Pros: Food, atmosphere, service
