Staffed by teens. More suited for families, kids and teens. Sticky floors and somewhat dirty. Good selection of snacks, candy and drinks, however don't expect to have anything refilled if you go to the last show. Five minutes after the last show starts vending shuts down. The one extra I like is the flavored topping for the popcorn. I just wish they would have given us a refill like they said they would. To date I have never had anything refilled at this theater. I have attended this theater several times and have always had an enjoyable time. Once we were watching a scary movie and my girlfriend dropped her cellphone and landed next to the biggest tarantula I have ever seen! I had to get her out of there without telling her or she would have screamed and really scared everyone. The friendly staff didn't believe us at first and after telling about five different teenagers finally someone went and removed it. I think it was because they were a little freaked out too. I actually had a more enjoyable evening because of the spider than watching the movie and even though we left the theater half way through. We were also offered complimentary tickets, but decided not the attend the theater for awhile.
Pros: good place for kids to watch movies and flavored popcorn topping.
Cons: No refills after last show starts and lots of kids.

Well- I have read the other reviews and I've got to agree with all of them. This theater is always dirty and for being just a few years old it is very run down. There have been a bunch of teenagers hanging around every time we go in for a movie. They have been hired to work there, but they don't. I've even seen the employees arguing with each other while customers wait to be helped. I have printed off coupons from my email that was sent to me by Weststates Theaters and they will not be honored there at the Tooele Theater. The denizens of Tooele who attend the movies with their children, ignore their horrible behavior. I have never been in an other theater where 1/3 of the kids in the movie are throwing things and talking and crying and their parents just sit there. Over the holiday weekend we went to see a showing of Prancer- there was a woman on one end of the row with her coat on a seat and on the other end of the row was a man with his coat also on the seat next to him. we tried to sit on that row and was told that they were saving for their family.... a whole row?? C'mon! When the movie started I noticed that the couple and five kids were seated in the middle of that row. soon it filled up - but, why save the whole row for seven people. I have spoken with the managers before about other issues and nothing is ever done. My husband and I vow to never see a movie there again. We are putting out the word at work and other places. If we want to go out for a show we will go the Ritz or to Salt Lake. At least the Ritz has employees there who care about their customers and who seem happy to be there. It is smaller, much older theater- but with a much better atmosphere.
Pros: ummmm- none reaqlly except it is close and has a big parking lot.
Cons: staff, selection of movies, cleanliness, food, prices, atmosphere is pathetic, loud kids

On Saturday may 5th 2007, My wife and I went to the 3:30pm showing of Spiderman 3. We got there 20 minutes early and had good seats, we had to get up to go use the facilities, and when we came back, the theatre was packed! Our seats were gone, and the only seats left were on either side of the screen, in the front row. Growing up in the theatre business, I went to the box office and politely asked if we could trade our tickets for the 4:30pm showing, or get tickets for a later show. The manager on duty informed us that it was our own fault for leaving the theatre, and that it was too bad for us , because he wasn't going to do a thing to help us. So we went back into the theatre and tried to watch the movie. I became so irate at his attitude that i went back to the box office and demanded my money back, he then offered to find me a seat as "You are obviously to stupid to find one for yourself". I have never, ever, been treated so rudely! I can't believe the caliber of people hired into management! The theatres are the worst I've ever seen! and anywhere I can put a bad word out for the Tooele Cinema 6, I will gladly do so!
Pros: Plenty of parking
Cons: Worst customer service anywhere!

The Cinema 6 theater in Tooele basically caters to to kids with parents. If you are not a parent, then you are better off going to a theater in Salt Lake City where grown-ups are catered to; except the ones owned by Larry Miller! Tooele's Cinema 6 rarely plays movies for the mature audience & you definitely wouldn't want to bring a date ... unless your date is a big kid-at-heart. So all you folks in Tooele, I recommend that you either venture over to the old, out dated theater that reeks of stale popcorn but show rather excellent movies on their small screens or just stay home and rent a movie when it comes out on DVD.
Pros: great for kids
Cons: does not cater to the mature audience

This place offers coupons for ticket discounts, then won't honor them when you walk up to the window. This INCLUDES non-first-run movies. I've had this happen more than once and will never go back to this VERY HIGH PRICED, small, uncomfortable theater again. The ticketing staff is unfriendly and unaccomodating. This is BY FAR the worst theater I've ever had to pay to attend. If I HAVE to stay in Tooele to see a movie, it will be to the RITZ, which seems more family-oriented.
Pros: Location, Multiplex Theater, Parking
Cons: Price, Employees, False-Advertising
