I have not been to a dentist in over 8 years. I was not looking forward to a dental visit, however, an coworker convinced me to go to see Dr. Graham. I have to admit I am looking forward to my next visit. The staff was great, it did not have the stuffy feeling I had once remembered. Dr. Graham was very nice, and we discussed the issues of my silver fillings for about 5 minutes, he basically educated me on them and I decided to leave them.
Pros: too many to list
Cons: none

Dr Graham's office was referred to me by some of my friends. I had been dental phobic for a couple of years, but the Sugarhouse Dental Spa has transformed me into someone who looks forward to my cleanings. The Spa experience is a great plus--with the Zen room and massaging chairs, dipping your hands in paraffin and the chill music while your teeth are getting cleaned are good, but more important to the experience is that the doctor and the staff care about your teeth. I had a filling done with epoxy and was having some pain when I was chewing. I checked in with the office on Thursday, but there were not appointments. The doctor gave me an appointment on a Saturday and I stopped by and it was just him who took care of things. That was great service. On my regular visits, I only get a couple of minutes with him, but I did not feel rushed or ignored and he answered all of my questions. I have talked to him about braces and he has been an adviser rather than a sales person. I have not had any cosmetic procedures suggested to me--and I think other dentists push this. I have recommended him to others at work and they have come back with big smiles.
Pros: Great care, pampering, no pressure on cosmetic procedures
Cons: Traffic around office, not open on Fridays

I was referred to this office 3 years ago by a friend that had veneers done by Dr. Graham I have been extremely pleased by the professionalism and care renderred at the Dental Spa. They explain everything in full detail. Dr. Graham did 10 veneers and completely changed my smile. Since then, the office has been so great and I would never go anywhere else. I wish I could think of some constructive criticism but I can't think of one thing. I won't change dentists now, I just hope they don't move like my last dentist did! Extremely happy, Sugarhouse Dental Patient.
Pros: professionalism, and dental care.
Cons: n/a

I was treated with so much care here! I had an infection and thought I was going to die. They took care of me and the pain subsided in just over a day. Thanks SDS
Pros: they were so kind and gentle, and new high tech equipment
Cons: none

I moved to Salt Lake 3 years ago and have been to 4 different dentists since my move. A co-worker advised me that I should see Dr. Graham in reference to a plan of treatment that my previous dentist had given me. The treatment plan had over $5000.00 worth of work that "needed" to be done on my teeth. That doctor had spent no more than 3 minutes looking at my teeth and didn't explain any of the treatment. I took my plan and x-rays into Sugarhouse Dental Spa where they treated me like an individual. Dr. Graham reviewed my x-rays in full detail and in fact told me that the silver fillings that the other dentist had wanted to crown were still in good condition. He showed me what decay looked like in an x-ray and then let me examine my own x-rays there at the chair. I would have not only spent over $5000.00 at my previous dentist, but I would of ended up having work done that wasn't required. I have since referred 3 of my friends to Sugarhouse Dental Spa and they have nothing to say but praise for the office. I don't normally write reviews, however, this experience deserved some feedback. So if you are looking for a dentist that involves you in your treatment and gives you honest advice... look no further. Steve
Pros: Great staff, personable dentist, fantastic service.
Cons: Can't think of one thing.

Sure, the massage chairs and the hand wax dip and the facial massage were nice. Not every dentist plays techno in their office... it is a hip place for sure. My concern is that... The dr spent less than 2 minutes with me overall!! He asked me if I had any problems with my teeth and then spent less than 1 minute looking in my mouth. Since this was before my cleaning, he based his "it seems like everything is okay" comments on the x-rays. The exam was extremely quick and superficial. Every other dentist I have visited has spent at least 5 minutes examining my mouth, and recording the details of what to watch etc. Overall, this dentist clearly bases his practice on the extra pampering, and I am not sure about whether he has practical skills in the art of dentistry (or not). I am okay receiving the lavender facial massage, but I am looking for a professional whom I can trust when I need to have drills in my mouth. As for me, I'm looking for another dentist who is more thorough, takes notes, and spends more than 1 minute looking inside my mouth. I'll consider it a bonus if the new dentist plays techno in the office.
Pros: nicely appointed office, spa treatments that have nothing to do with your teeth
Cons: very brief exam, focus on superficial stuff that have nothing to do with your teeth

So I just got back from the Sugarhouse Dental Spa and let me tell you it is a sweet deal! I got to sit in the massage chair in the Zen room while I was waiting. This is were I dipped my hands in hot paraffin wax was amazing! It relaxed my whole body and made the cleaning that much more pleasant. The Dental stuff was great. The Dentist was young and really great. He seemed to be even more up to date on new cleaning technologies compared to my old dentists. Addressed concerns in a very positive and friendly manner. I felt like he was very honest and sincere. After having a slightly sore jaw from all the dental work, they followed it up with a facial and neck massage followed by a hot towel on my face. The best part of it all is I didn’t pay a dime thanks to Dental Insurance! Anyways, it was a treat for sure and I’ll be a customer for life.
Pros: Extra's and overall Treatment
Cons: I hope they don't out grow there small location.

I have been searching for a dentist for 3 years now, and have thankfully been referred to this one. Finally someone has made the dental experience a pleasant one. His staff is wonderful, and they spent time on ME.
Pros: Office is beautiful, the treatments a great
Cons: that I didn't find it sooner
