I was never a very big fan of Thai food until my boyfriend took me to this place. I absolutely love it! Every dish I have tried has been wonderful. The owner is a very friendly lady who makes you feel extremely welcomed. We always get a few dishes to share and there is always more than plenty for everyone and even enough to take home. I love this place and recommend it to anyone. The only down side is it looks like a dive. The outside looks better now that it's been redone, but the inside is sort of lacking. Don't let if disuade you though, the food is great.
Pros: Amazing Food, Great Service, Friendly Staff
Cons: Decoration and Ambience are Lacking

This is by far the best Thai restaurant in the valley. The food is delicious and the owners and family are wonderful! You'll leave feeling like you made fabulous new friends who cooked a great meal for you. The curries are delicious and the noodle dishes are great, too. The only con is the decor, but even that has its own charm.
Pros: Great food, fabulously friendly owners
Cons: The decor, though the restaurant is always clean. Also, no free refills on soda.

I love Thai food and have tried several Thai restaurants throughout the valley but Thai Delight is my favorite. The prices are great, the service is quick and friendly and everything I’ve tried on their menu has been delicious. The décor leaves much to be desired so if you are trying to impress your date, this is NOT the place to do it. However, if you just want great food for a great price then check it out. P.S. There is an Asian market that is a few doors down from Thai Delight that has some great deals on exotic items you can’t find in your average grocery store.
Pros: Great Food
Cons: Decor

I discovered Thai Delight soon after moving to South Jordan 3 years ago. The food is the best Thai that I have ever experienced. I go there about 1-2 times a month and I've tried a majority of the menu items, all with 100% satisfaction. The food is fresh, surprisingly inexpensive and the portions are large enough to take some home for later. Not only is the food a delight but the owner is too! She's very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Thai Delight wins hands down over the overpriced/less than tasty east side Thai places that I've patroned. Thai Delight is in an older strip mall, has a small seating area and not a lot of ambince (ok, I rate it a 1 out of 10), but if you let that turn away you'll be missing out!
Pros: AWESOME FOOD, LOW PRICES, FRIENDLY SERVICE
Cons: AMBIENCE

Hey, what can I say? Yeah, you have to go out to the west side of town to visit this restaurant, but, since it is just off Bangerter Highway at 6400 South it is easy to get to and easy to find. I discovered Thai Food several years ago and have since visited most of the Thai Restaurants in the Metro Area. I also just spent two weeks in Bangkok, Thailand, earlier this Summer. The food in this restaurant has to be some of the best Thai Food in the Western US, and, unlike SOME foods, Thai Food does NOT improve with price. The price here is VERY reasonable. I went there again, straight from my visit to Thailand and I can only say that the food is authentic and wonderful. I have truly been disappointed with the Thai food at some better known eateries, but if you like the real deal, then This Is The Place!
Pros: Possibly the best Thai Food in the Western US.
Cons: It is out of the way for some people. Just west of Bangerter Highway.

What a find! We had heard it was good but when my son and I visited it we were doubly surprised. The service is excellent (we have been back once a week since our first visit) and everything we have tried has been exceptional. Worth the drive. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: Fast service, Excellent Thai
Cons: Traveling distance

Thai Delight can't really be called undiscovered after having received top reviews from every newspaper in SLC, yet remains below the radar of nonfoodies. Chowhounds who revel in delectable, exotic morsels all speak the name 'Thai Delight' in hushed, reverential tones. Accessible to culinary adventurers and cautious newbies alike, for Thai newbies it is important to know that the word 'curry' doesn't exclusively refer to the yellow powder in the aluminum Durkee canister ubiquitous in every grocery spice aisle in America. Curry is a generic term for a blend of spices with many flavor profiles e.g. yellow curry's predominant flavors come from cumin and turmeric, neither of which is used in any other curry. Yellow curry is pungent - green curry is mild and slightly sweet. I'd recommend the mild green curry w/chicken or the mild Thom Kha Kai, for the more advanced, Panang w/pork or Larb w/sticky rice.
Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious, Flexible
Cons: kitschy decor

I heard about Thai Delight from a friend and after eating there, I wished I'd tried it sooner. The food was delicious and the family that owns it are friendly and accommodating. I've returned multiple times and each time the food has been stellar. Their yellow curry is good and not spicy (I'm not fond of spicy food). The Panang is exquisite and has turned into one of my favorite dishes. The sweet and sour chicken was okay, but not as tasty as some. The rice is sticky and the chicken is tender and moist, as it should be. The veggies are flavorful too. If I had to change anything, I would want the potatoes in the yellow curry a bit softer. The prices are around $6-$8 and the helpings are quite large enough that it's a challenge to finish.
Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff, Inexpensive
Cons: Poor location, Small dining area

As a pastry chef at a local restaurant, I've won Salt Lake City Weekly's "Best Desserts" four years in a row. That's why when I saw that Thai Delight won "Best Reason to Visit West Jordan" I had to try it out. Since that first visit, Thai Delight has been one of our favorites. Although the atmosphere is not the most elegant, the food and authenticity more than compensates. This is Thai comfort food at its best. The owners are wonderful, funny and always willing to suggest dishes for those who are looking for something different. I usually eat at Thai Delight 2-3 times a month and it is always consistent, but has enough diversity to keep me coming back and trying different menu items. Foodies (food snobs) should leave their attitudes at the door when dining at Thai Delight or avoid it altogher.
Pros: authenticity, taste, inexpensive
Cons: ambience

I have eaten at Thai Delight many times and really love the food there. Overall, it is a very good Thai restaurant. It is a family run business, so the whole family helps out. The Basil Chicken is excellent, as is the Musaman curry. The Cashew chicken is also very good. I would (and do) recommend this resaurant to anyone. Small kids may find it hard to get something they like, but maybe my kids are just too picky. Also, it's rather small, so large groups may be hard to seat.
Pros: good price, authentic flavors, freshly made
Cons: , location, not much room
