I live about 3 blocks from this place. When i first saw the place I thought it would have a cozy Cheers vibe, boy was I wrong. The people who work there act as if you've shit on there susage party. If you ask any quesions about anything they act like you are an idiot. I've tried to ignor it by going a dozen times but I get the same vibe everytime. these guys suck. Don't go there unless you want to pick a fight!!!
Cheers
- Pros: good wings
- Cons: BAD BEER, BAD SEVICE
Worst Service Ever!
by SLC27
Where do I even begin to explain the distaste I feel for the Trolley Wing Company? The service here makes you feel like you have invaded a private party, and you were not on the guest list. The wings here are alright, but if customer service you are after, don't even think about trying this place (Unless you are a regular or a friend of the servers). Obviously the manager of this establishment does not care to make any money, because he is driving his patrons away by hiring: rude, ignorant, and arrogant servers. I tried this place last year, and returned this weekend hoping things would have been different from past experience. Obviously I was wrong! Until management can step up and create a more appealing atmosphere for the regular Joe, and not the Good Ol Boy, this establishment will not survive in an economy where the dollar is the driving force behind all business. My plans are to never return to this place, and I would never recommend anyone to dine in this establishment... Unless you like being treated like an uninvited guest.
- Pros: Alright Wings
- Cons: Worst Service Ever!

Great wings. Su cks to get there late on a cold night and have to sit outside. But still worth it! Some times they dont have all the flavors on the menu but i dont care...much.
- Pros: Great wings
- Cons: Seating arrangement
what happened
by nyfoodguy
Not sure what happened. Use to be fresh celery and carrots, now bagged mini carrots sliced in half. An order of wings = 8 wings? I will pass
- Pros: not fried in oil
- Cons: no parking small area, 8 wings
Best wings in SLC

I have eaten a lot of wings, and Trolley (WingaDing as we call it) is the best. Good sauces, good wings, and plenty of beer on tap. If you are looking for more than that, go somewhere else. The staff tend to be fairly brutal (one at any time, night or day). The ambience is awesome and it's a popular spot for locals. Be prepared to sit in the cold on the patio if the Trolley is full. Inside only holds 10-15 people. The wait is usualy 30-45 minutes for your wing order, so do it right away. Staff will always let you know how long it will take so don't cry about it. Jaimacan hots are sooo good. The atomics are not for beginners and don't EVER challenge Rob to make you the hottest wings he can. No one wants to see you cry.
- Pros: awesome wings, sauces, ambience, plenty of beer on tap, super during summertime
- Cons: small space, touchy staff but wings are soooooo good, freaking cold outside in winter
Trolley Wing Company Rating
by craigalleninthecity
Unfortunately one of the worst experiences I've had in an eating/bar establishment, and I'm a connoisseur of the sort. Bad service (one of the worst I've had)....and horribly inedible wings to top it off....great potential and atmosphere though.....minus the attitude the bartender/cook (all-in-one) had for the four of us out on the makeshift patio. As a concierge by occupation for a major hotel, and resident of downtown--Trolley Wing Company just became one of those places that I'll not only never refer, but deter people from.
- Pros: The quaintness of the trolley car, while cramped, is unique
- Cons: Too many to count..........
great f!@#$%* wings
by mydxnya
The enviroment is definetly unique with that trolly car tucked under the water tower, a for sure one of a kind. The service is awesome if your a regular and rob is working and if not it only gets knocked down to above average. Lets not forget the reason this Magna boy drives downtown, the wings! With the cajun honey's and the jamican jerks's being at the top of my list i would challenge anybody who thinks they can stomach hot food to try the ATOMICS! A real can't miss for wing lovers.
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: No bathroom
Rob = Great Wings
by CaptianChrome
Rob the bartender is the best thing that ever happened to wings in SLC, you can catch him Saturday at noon. The recipe of beer, fun and a great environment to eat wings is awesome! If your looking for fast friendly customer service, this is your joint. They even have reserved motorcycle parking. If Bryce is working that is sure to equal a great time.
- Pros: The bartenders are easy on the eyes.
- Cons: They wear shirts.
the only trolley car with wings
by buck29
This place has the best wings and some really yummy bartenders. The beer isn't the coldest so drink quick. The wings are not fried! Make sure to give your self some time to enjoy the place, because the wings might take a bit. Like they say good things come to those who wait. Keep an eye out for misfit muslim teenagers. I almost took a bullet for their wings. Who knows where this place will end up after corporate american moves, so go their NOW.
- Pros: jason
- Cons: no tequila
Just what you'd expect from the name--a variety of tasty wings and cold beer in a streetcar named TWC.

The Scene
The perfect pit stop after too many hours spent shopping around Trolley Square, or a good place for a bite before a movie. Trolley Wing Company is cozy and clean, fashioned out of an ancient trolley car and the surrounding patio. Not the kind of place you'd want to sit in for hours at a time, but a good place to break for lunch or an evening snack.
The Food
A whole lotta wings: hot, cajun honey, cajun hotties, barbecue and teriyaki. The wings are better than normal, too--not as hot or, as some might claim, as tasty as the venerable Nickel's (now Mo's Neighborhood Grill), but the chicken is high quality and it's still a great find. Four beers are on draught--Cutthroat, Uinta Hefeweizen, Bud and Bud Light.
