Mo?s is just a simple, fun place.
For a few months my friends and I went every Sunday for their free comedy nights.
The have a lot of seating, good hot wings, great pizza, awesome service and fair priced beer. I?ve gone there to play pool, go on dates & to just get smashed with my friends.
- Pros: Good Food, Good Service, Downtown, Not Trendy
- Cons: Cons?
perfect!

At least a decent dinner in SLC! I looked hard to find a non-franchised restaurant, and it's getting difficult to get a "normal" place: good service, nice atmosphere, and good food (which is I believe the point of going in a restaurant). And please not "the best avocado-pineapple burger in the world-ever" as you see all over the places...
I had the steack with mushrooms. They asked me how I wanted it cooked. My head said "I can tell whatever I want, they'll do over-cooked anyway"... but no, it was perfect. And all of this for a reasonable price. To recommend!

Went back for a show and decided to give the wings another try. Am i glad!! The wings are back to the way they used to be. Portion size was large and smothered with the amazing tasting sauce of old. Just to warn those who do not care for spice, these have a great kick. Wing lovers give it a whirl.
- Pros: great atmoshere, good place to hang, great wings

We tried this place out based on the good reviews. We ordered a pitcher of beer which was not cold. We did not get cold glasses either. We then ordered their pizza and wings special. The wings were dry and did not taste good. The pizza was ok but certainly not the best. The service was slow also. We probably will not be going back because I can think of a lot of other places that I would rather eat at.

We are from So. Cal. and have lived here 2.5 years. We are from the coast and so miss our neighborhood beach bars & Grills from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Moe's is a lot like the restaurants/bars we hung out at in our former So. Cal. beach towns and also compares to casual gathering places in our college town of Chico, California. in Northern Cal. GREAT burgers, fries, pizza...and waiter "Josh" made great dirty martinis! Also some mighty fine on the rocks margaritas. I am happy to have finally discovered a bartender who can make a good drink! Thanks Master Josh!
There are BIG TV's, a pool table, great local music (The "Chad Stanley Trio" was some awesome Jazz.) It was a bit busy when we were there, so kick back and wait a little for your order. It's easy to do some waiting here with the music and great hometown-bar atmosphere... WE love this place.

We had a bad experience here. Our group of 30 people was looking for a place for pizza. We discovered that Mo's could be a possibility and called them the day before. We were able to reserve space for our large group. This is because no one goes here. The place was dirty and pretty empty. The bathrooms were filthy dirty. Upon ordering 11 large 16-inch pizza for our group, we got 14-inch pizzas with just 8 slices each. It was very obvious that these were only 14-inch pizzas or maybe even smaller. They charged us full price for 16-inch pizzas. Some people in our group were still hungry as the pizza was not very filling. The mushrooms were from a can and many of the ingredients appeared cheap and not fresh. Upon receiving our bill the waitresses added a 25% gratuity to our check. We refused to pay this much for the mediocre food. The waitresses were also giving individual bills to people for drink orders and they were adding 25-30% gratuities to the checks. They were pretty much just putting down whatever tip they wanted. After complaining about the food quality, pizza size, and gratuity amounts the waitresses did absolutely nothing. They said come back and talk to MO during the day. We got no group discount, and had smaller than 16-inch pizzas. The pizzas were expensive. About $13 with cheese and $15 with 2 toppings. Considering that they were only 14 inch and toppings were from a can this was not a good deal. I would recommend not going here at any cost. There are many other pizza restaurants in Salt Lake City with much higher quality food for the same price or less.
- Pros: Good for groups because place is empty and they will have space
- Cons: Everything else
Kids okay

This is one of the few places where kids are welcome and you can have a few drinks, a good meal, and listen to great music. Not too many places like this in SLC.

Some friends and I always go to eat some yummy hot wings, fabulous pizza, and to enjoy music from unknown musicians from around the city. One night we were enjoying our pizza and wings and some homeless men came in and sat right next to us. Any other establishment would have kicked them out, but they were nice enough to serve them water. It was not a problem to us until they began to ask for money and were obviously on something. I think they should have kicked them out after disturbing us numerous times.
- Pros: great food, nice music, inexpensive
- Cons: run down, small tv's, lots of seating

I was recently visiting SLC and I went to Mo's Neighborhood Grill. The waitress was terribly rude!!! She was not friendly whatsoever. The food was cold and dry and tasted like crap and the waitress acted like she was mad because i told her i didnt want to eat it. The hamburgers were awful and the wings were cold and wrinkly! I will never return to mos because the food is disgusting and the waitress was a bitch!!
PROS: nothing
CONS: everything
Best Wings? Not so much the best of anything! by Tyler L. at InsiderPages

I walked by Mo's Grill at 358 S West Temple recently as I was craving wings. I saw a sign outside that said they had beer and wings. As I pointed this out to my girlfriend verbally a bartender that was outside said We have the BEST wings in town. I am trusting enought that I thought I would give them a try. We waited a very long time for wings and burgers. The wings were exteremely dry, so we did not eat them. The hamburgers were tasteless and greasy. I would never go to Mo's again, ever.
PROS: Clean atmosphere
CONS: Terrible food and service
