This private club is a haven for visitors and locals looking for elegant surroundings.

In Short
Tucked behind the Bambara restaurant in the Hotel Monaco, Club Bambara is a good place to impress a date or just hang back and sip a martini. You have to be a member of the club to get a drink, but that's all part of the ambience. Well-dressed patrons sip beverages and chat about work or life in the fast lane in this richly colored speakeasy. The polite service is friendly and prompt.

Cozy with class

Part of me doesn't want to spread the word about this place because it still seems a bit of an undiscovered spot. However, another part of me wants everyone to know how cool this place can be. I think the thing that makes Bambara so great is the fact that it's so unique in comparison to everything else in the valley. The place is small, plush, dim, and well...kind of sexy. A great spot for mixed drinks or red wine. The menu is quite good (sharing a kitchen with the restaurant), but the service is often amateur. The other thing that bothers me is the "club membership" policy that, while standard in Utah, is annoying and is treated by staff as biblical commandment.
