Dying to spy a movie star? Flee the sterility of Park City's condo district and march up Main.

The Scene
The creaky old houses are now gift boutiques and galleries, but Main Street still retains the look and feel of an old mining town--a tribute to Park City's humble (pre-Redford) past. If you head south, you'll pass landmarks like the Kimball Art Center, the Territorial Jail and Historic Egyptian Theater--home of the Sundance Film Festival. Come back in August and you'll catch the Park City Kimball Arts Festival, one of the largest annual events in Utah.

The Experience
Aside from Sundance, Main Street's claim to fame is the fine array of art shops--Artworks Gallery is a particular favorite. If you get tired of gallery hopping, then stop by Dolly's Bookstore or browse through the karma products at Expanding Heart. Jewelry, furniture, antiques and toys round out Main Street's retail offerings.
