Great Place for Great Service
by Super Dave
This beautiful little boutique has the perfect gift items. I've also bought extremely fine stationery there and the staff served me with impeccable manners and perfect patience.
The employees seem to have been informed that the customer comes first, and that distinction requires a review and five stars.
- Pros: Employees Truly Care About Customers
- Cons: Everything's Expensive

Love it!
by gotbeautyqueen
I love the products. I love the displays. (as a local shoppe owner, am often quite jealous of the display genius shown at the trolley location). If I can't find the perfect gift at my own store, I go to TR. The owners are clever in their product mix, and caring towards clients. I adore TR for special occassion invitations and gift wrap. Although upper-end price wise, the qaulity is always consistent, as is the service.
- Pros: obviously high quality
A must stop in SLC

I am a Education Specialist who works with students from freshman in high school through college and graduate school. One area I work with them is on interviewing with their selected colleges for further scholarships offers.
I teach my students the old art of sending thank you notes for interviews granted. In today's society where most items are bought in bulk at the local WalMart or Target, it is hard for students to find anything but the "typical" thank you cards. YUK!!!
Tabula Rasa allows their clients to find tasteful stationary that fits their personality! Whether it is baroque or modern, each can find their own taste. My personal thank you cards have old world Russan playing cards on its front. Just my style.
Best Stationary in town

One of my favorite stores in Salt Lake. They create custom stationary from Cranes, William Arthur, Caspari, you name it. They go engraving, embossing, thermography, letterpress, flat print, etc. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about ettiquette for many occasions. I love the products they carry. They have some beautiful leather bound journals, classy pens, and gorgeous gift wrap. What a fun shop!
- Pros: Great products, knowledgable staff, beautiful gifts
For people who want to inhabit the romantic world of a Jane Austen novel.

The Scene
Imagine that you reside in a quaint English cottage. Each morning you sit at your writing desk, surrounded by expensive paper, inks and quills. As you sip your tea, you peruse invitations to important social events and the latest letters from cherished friends. Make this dream come true with a visit to Tabula Rasa, where you'll find an impressive array of elegant writing supplies. (Reality check--you're on your own with the quaint English cottage).
The Goods
Inks, pens, leather-bound journals, photo albums, picture frames, stationery, cards, wrapping paper, custom printing, jewelry and seasonal knickknacks. Who's buying? People with real, rather than imagined social lives. Engaged couples and intrepid party planners have their invitations printed here. You'll pay between 75 cents for postcards and $795 for fountain pens.
