Lame, Lame, Lame!

I used this daycare for a month, and in that month, my child only had one teacher who spoke english! (pretty important for a toddler who's learning to talk) The facility was nice, and had okay security, but the staff was rude and always seemed like there was something going on.
On the last day of my child's attendance, I asked one of the girls at the front desk what the procedure was, and she handed me a piece of paper and told me to write down my 2 weeks notice. I told her I'd already given my notice and that there's a note on my acct. She refused to look and insisted I write down my notice. Talk about trying to gauge me for extra tuition!
- Pros: Nice building, nice play area, need a code to get in the door
- Cons: Teacher in toddler class don't speak english, owner and certain staff members extrememly rude, tuition too high for not teaching anything, etc.
Fantastic Attentive Caring Staff!!!

This is a very large center with two to three classes divided by age group in each area. There are seven area's. I have had my children enrolled for over two years now and wouldn't change if you gave me free daycare. They use the Mother Goose Curriculum and while the three year olds and the five year olds may work on the same projects each age group works at a different level or ability, the staff even teach at different levels in the same age group (Not all three year olds are the same). There is two 8 X 4 foot bulliten boards posted that show and explain preschool activities in the main entry hall and this is explained at enrollment. This Center always recieves perfect 100% inspections. The last inspection was 4/28/09 multiple inspectors for over eight hours and a perfect 100% (all normal) My child was the child who Sterlings stole the money from. Check out the Sterlings web page it shows their children with beer bottles. Please use caution when using sites like this anyone can lie! Call Licensing to get proper reports. Sterlings also skipped out on their bill.
- Pros: Beautiful, Clean, Lots of Activities
- Cons: Couldn't find any
overcrowded daycare at best

I sent my children to this "daycare/preschool because of all the rave reviews they gave themselfs. My children were enrolled there for two months. I appreciate that they have puppet shows and other activities for the children, however there was not any personal attention given to either one of my children. I would be surprised if they even knew their names. The class sizes were ridiculous. Around 30 children in each class. My son was not given proper education. His phonics cards were sent home with scribbles on them, as if they gave him crayolas and told him to do as he pleases. My five year old's projects and learning activities were the same my three year old was doing. Unacceptable. Not only was the education something I was furious about, my son's belongings were stolen constantly with the employees not seeming to care very much. Occasionally the other teacher in my sons classroom of thirty was a non english speaking lady. Another time I caught one of the teachers yelling out of control at another child. After the school aged children came to the center, my five year old was placed in a room with much older children, whom taught him vulgar jokes. The last straw was when the "teachers" accused him of stealing another childs money for snack time. My son would have money every week for friday snack. The last friday he was there another child accused him of stealing her money. Instead of calling the parents, they gave the little girl his money and had him up front reprimanding him for stealing. When i arrived at the center they were rude and expressed they "guess" they believed me and would give him a dollar. Not only did my child have money every week but occasionally would bring extra in case someone didnt have any, as there are also many misfortunate children. All together i find this center more focused on packing as many children as they can in there, rather then teaching them any educational skills. I hope centers like this will soon be a thing of the past.
- Pros: Open saturdays
- Cons: Over crowded class size. Poor education.

This center is the BEST in the state. State of the art security, cameras, and an excellent staff with more education and training than any other center we have ever been to, including multiple staff members with college degrees and 75% or more of the staff with 1600% higher training than the state of utah requires to work in childcare! Yes you read that correctly 1600% higher and the remaining staff are working towards that level! We never settle for licensings standards.. We go way beyond! simply because their rules are not good enough for us!
EVERY single teacher in the toddler room does 100% positively speak english. This client made it perfectly clear she had racial issues. We do not tolerate this!
NO ONE tried to guage you for extra tuition! We are cheaper than everyone else around and provide better care as well!
Feel free to volunteer.... work 1 week with NO complaints and we will pay you 3 times your weeks salary!
For the centers protection as well as the clients a written two week notice is required and there is a specific spot on the form to be filled in. This client simply tried to skip out on her two week notice and was told that the notice was required and that the form needed to be filled in!
- Pros: High Security, Low Cost, Highly Trained Staff!
- Cons: None!
