We found this place by mistake while looking for a different restaurant. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Friendly service. Chinese food and Utah is no longer an oxymoron. Fried pork dumplings (pot-stickers), chicken with brocolli, and beef with green beans were all excellent. A little too much corn starch in the Hot and Sour soup, but no other complaints. Try it, you'll like it.

So, you've been to Korea, right? Let's say you're an RM (There is practically nobody else that ever goes to Korea for any other reason -eh?) You'd like Some Chinese Food, Korean style, right? THIS IS THE PLACE! When you are in Korea, and you go to a Chinese restaurant, you get stuff that you can't get when you are in America, wanting to go to a Chinese Restaurant. TANG-SUE-Yook? Oh yes, JAJANG-Myung, yep! This is the place, the KEY is, ask for the KOREAN MENU. It's in Korean too. The chef is a Korean, so he wanted to offer both choices, the poor American styled Chinese food, and the real good stuff - the KOREAN Chinese food. I found this restaurant by talking to some Korean's @ the U. I was lamenting that I couldn't find my favorite "korean" food. They said go there. They were right! Good stuff.

Pros: Best (only) Korean Styled Chinese Food in Town

If you're looking for a new place to try, I recommend going to Ocean City. Everytime I've gone I've been greeted and seated promptly, service is usually fast even when it's packed. The staff is always friendly and ready to serve your every need. And for anyone that's looking for some great korean food, they have a separate menu with some authentic korean favorites, just ask your waiter about it. Overall, Ocean City is a great place to try it's affordable, good food and a relaxed atmosphere.

I have been a cutomer of Ocean City for over 6 years and each time I go there, I am not dissappointed. You will find them to be very clean and have friendly service. The food quality is very good and I can't wait to go back.

This is nothing different than dozens of other Utah Chinese American restaurants and possibly a little worse due to the immense egos of the proprietors. A definite one to miss and wouldn't be missed if it went out of business. The Jasmine just to the west is a much better choice but still sub standard.

Best potstickers around! I also like the pon-pon chicken. Not usualy crouded so service is amazing. They seem to have inconsistent quality. When it is good it is unbeatable. When it is bad it is only good.

After reading the reviews I decided to try Ocean City. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing special. The service was friendly. Unfortunately I can't say anything nice about the food. The fried wontons were hard and chewy. The egg roll was too frightening to even try. The sweet and sour chicken was worst I've ever tried. It was almost impossible to find the tiny chunks of chicken (quarter inch by quarter inch) in the large balls of batter (1-2 inch by 2 inch). The rice was forgettable and the soda was badly watered down. We ended up leaving with most of the "food" still left on the plates. Very disapointing and hard to believe the reviews for this place.

The best service. The best food. Nothing else to say. Try the Pon Pon chicken, or the Tangerine Beef. I love this place!!!!!!!

Ocean City is not only the best Chinese Restaurant in SL, it's one of the best restaurants period. The food is great but the best part is the service. The management makes you feel right at home and there are always a dozen people to fill your class, clear your plates, etc. My wife and I love this place and try to go as often as possible.

I highly recommend this restaurant as I've never been disappointed after repeated visits. Ocean City isn't expensive yet their food is some of the best in the state. The service is great, they don't ignore you after you order like some places do. Try their hot&sour soup particularly if you usually get egg drop soup and don't ignore the little menu on the table as it has some great dishes not on their usual menu. My favorite dish is their Double Mushroom Chicken.

Pros: Consistent, Good Menu

Cons: restroom, Not near freeway
