Greedy & Arrogant Clerks

I have never been to a hotel where they desk clerk will charge guests for overnight parking, that is outrageous. It's bad enough they charge an outrageous price of the rooms, I can't believe they would have the odasity to charge for parking as well. Old style rooms? That would be very questionable. More like a dump.

• Cons: No Parking.

I wouldnt take my dog there

We pulled up to the hotel there were very few parking spots available. All were small and barely fit our car. Went into the room which was dark and dingy. Walls were plaster and looked dilapidated. The TV was old and tiny. The room was very small. The hotel room reminded me of a hostel in Europe or a homeless shelter. Needless to say we left not wanting to stay there and asked for our money back. The front desk clerk didnt seem to surprised and did not offer to find us a more appropriate room.

• Pros: Its close to Temple Square
• Cons: Rooms are terrible. Hotel Should have been torn down with the rest of them next to Temple SQuare

Great rooms, reasonable rates, plus free breakfasts and a complimentary airport shuttle.

The Scene
This hotel is the closest one in the city to the world's largest genealogical library and offers special rates for visiting scholars. Considering its location, which is also ideally located for downtown business and touring, its prices are excellent.

The Details
The property features the charming exterior of an old manor house, with a brightly lit portico, cheerfully striped awning and sidewalks lined with flowerbeds. Standard room decor relies on warm, neutral tones. Suites include impeccably clean, brightly-lit kitchens and ample desks for spreading out academic reports or the family tree. Along with basic amenities, there are in-room VCRs with complimentary access to a library of more than 700 movie titles, wireless Internet access, a hot tub, a sauna and even a simple exercise room.
