Amazing

I was extremely impressed. We walked in thinking that it would be a long a diffucult process. It wasn't difficult at all though. We had all of our questions answered thoroughly--including questions we didn't realize that we had.

They gave us enough info to save us SEVERAL hundred dollars. We spent less on BOTH rings than I had planned on spending for ONE. I'll send all of my friends their way.

You Got To Go Here

I have gone to Mike's several times and they have always treated me great. They have repaired several pices of jewelry for me and their cost was always what they quoted me when I dropped it off. The have given me a receipt with the price of what it will cost to fix it each time I left my jewelry. When I picked it up the price was the same. I would not trust my jewelry with anyone else.

The Best Jewelry Anywhere!!

I love this place. After buying jewelry here I will never go anywhere else. They have a huge selection and something in everyone's price range. If you don't find exactly what you want they are willing to put forth the extra effort and make it special just for you. Their diamonds are amazing and I always get comments on my jewelry. They truly enjoy what they do and are always friendly. I compared my jewelry from Mike's with what I had purchased from other stores and you could tell that the quality and workmanship from Mike's was far superior. Even my husband agreed that he would never go anywhere else again.

Shoddy work....at best

I'm not going to tell you all the horrible things I had to experience with Mike and his horrible sales staff. I will tell you the key points that you can keep in mind before you spend any money here:

1. Mike's work is shoddy. Every time I took my ring in to get re-sized or cleaned they tried to give it back with scratches and dings all over it. I think Mike is getting a little too old to be doing such detail-oriented work.

2. Awful customer service. The sales staff are always smug and unresponsive. They will treat you great until you give them money, then there is no more incentive and they will treat you like a nuisance.

3. Did I mention the sloppy work?

From looking at the reviews it seems that people either gave them one star or five stars. I wonder how much the 5 star reviewers paid for their jewelry? I'll bet those who paid way too much for their jewelry got much better service than those who paid a reasonable amount. We fit in the middle, I think, but our service was awful.

I don't care if I have to pay for my next cleaning; I will NEVER go back to Mike's Custom Jewelry.

Never go here!!

It makes me mad that I even have to give them one star!!!

I took in a pave style ring purchased elsewhere for sizing. Mike told me pave style rings are harder to size, but he could do it. He did not offer any other sizing options such as adding more gold to the ring to make the base smaller or the side inserts which also help in sizing pave style rings.

When I went back for my ring it was miss-shapen and oval in shape, and a diamond was missing. He replaced the diamond with a smaller diamond that sits under the other diamonds instead of flush with them.

The price he quoted me at drop off was not the price I had to pay when I picked up my ring.

I had to take my ring to a real jewely store to have them fix what Mikes Custom Jewelry did, costing me even more time and money. All in all they are very unprofessional and offer very poor quality work. I am shocked they made me pay them for mangeling my engagement ring!

They LOST my ring

I took my ring (which I did not purchase there) to be resized. I got my ring back a month later and one of the side diamonds fell out. They told me they would replace it at no charge. I had to call them several times....uhhhh....I was finally told that they could not find my ring. They FINALLY did find my ring and returned it 4 months later. Guess what happened? Yep that's right the same diamond fell out again, only this time I was stuck with the bill. Makes you wonder what they did with my ring for 4 months!!!!

Dream come true

I got my wedding ring custom made , center stone is 2k ruby centered around 4k diamonds, The ruby is a sign of our love for each other as well as the body of Christ. WOW does not began to describe how beautiful my ring is. Everyone can't help but notice how it shines, and i'm so glad we chose Mikes over any other store....

I do NOT believe they sold anyone a poor quality diamond or better yet lost a ring. I think the people who write a bad review are use to the blue lite special @ K mart. and would not know a real diamond if it jumped out and bit them in the aspirin ! Your bad reviews does not hurt the business at all, for anyone and everyone who has shopped @ Mikes know you only get the best.

We paid $ 3,200 for my ring, and it was well worth every cent. People who see my ring thinks we paid over 10g for it. now for them that wanna fuss and complain call me and i'll buy your wedding ring from a bubble gum machine then maybe you'll be happy cause you have something you can afford .

Very nice Jewelry Shop

Went there and was very pleased. A woman named Arlene helped us get the ring we wanted without being pushy. Gave us a letter of Authenticity. And let us get a second appraisal from another company. And a man named Dino was very polite and dropped the asking price by a thousand dollars. The rings are worth alot more than what they were first asking. We were very pleased. Great place to shop...

BEST JEWELRY STORE YET Honestly

LETS BE HONEST NOT THE CHEAPEST BUT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR CHEAP DONT BUY AT A PLACE WITH CUSTOM IN THE NAME!!!

I found a wonderful engagement ring at Shane Co where I purchased my now wife's promise ring. It was amazing only thing is my wife wanted it to be different two diamonds on the side so I was recommended to Mike's by my now mother-in-law. I asked the lady there if they could add some diamonds if I didnt buy it there, she said they could make the ring custom, so I opted to do that. The ring has a 1 karat loose diamond I bought there and about 1 karat in other diamonds. My wife gets so so so many compliments on her ring its insane! So I looked at rings there and found a awesome Carbon Fiber and Titanium mens ring and people literally ask me all the time where I found this ring. I also bought my wife some pearls for our wedding day at Mikes and my wife adores them and they were for a Necklace and earrings under $300-400. They are high quality and the most brilliant diamonds I have ever seen and I went to over 10 places for diamonds and know people in the business. THE BEST PLACE FOR LONG RELATIONSHIP BUYING dont be cheap diamonds are forever. Will and DO recommend everyone I know there I am in my early 20's and multiple friends have been there and enjoy it as much as I did..

What a ripoff

On our 10th anniversery my wife had lost the center diamond in her ring and so i took into Mike and he personally found us a new diamond and installed a new crown, We later took in to have a check up and have the crown tightened. The salesman told asked us where we got the diamond because this one was chipped and was very poor quality. Mike heard him and had him go to the back of the store and told us the salesman was wrong. Wow who would you believe. We have taken it to Zales and they told us the same as the salesman.

A wonderful experience

Read the other reviews after I had already purchased my wifes 25 year anniversay rings. Even though I had been treated wonderfully, received great service, and had custom work done, I began to worry. I took rings to an independent appraiser that I paid for. Appraisal came back higher than what I had paid and the diamonds were rated exactly as I had been told by Mike.

The downtown and mall jewelers would only offer what was in their case. Mike took the time to make sure each detail has taken care of and that we got exactly what we wanted. I would definetly shop at Mikes again and would refer my friends.
