Great Experience while getting great hair!
by thepuzzleplace
So, I have been going here since I have lived in Utah, and my regular hairstylist is April. She is outstanding with cuts and my color! I trust her enough now that I just go in and let her do her thing, she always seems to know what little tweaks to make to give my hair a little extra flair from the previous time. Every stylist there is great though. They are recently trained and will not tell you how or what to do with your hair, they really do what you want. But, I would recommend asking them for their advice, because they sure know what looks good. I would tell ANYONE to go here, no matter what your hair is like. They can do it. Absolutely fabulous.
- Pros: Service, HEAD MASSAGES, Quality, Reasonable Prices
- Cons: None

Hair Extensions
by ilikesnow
I hate to write a bad review, Im not that type of person, but I feel like I got duped out of 600 bucks and I have been crying for three days over this. I got hair extensions 8 days ago and they are already falling out, there are clumps of hair all over my house. Not only that you can see the wefts of hair coming through all over the place. That upsets me because I specifically asked her if that would happen and if it would, Id just get a hair cut instead, and she said they wouldnt. The braids they are sewn to have slipped (and vey crookedly) down at least an inch in some places, and completely out on one row. The "hand tied" hair I paid almost 300 bucks for is unravelling all over the place, large peices of it fall out all the time, and threads from it, and the thread that was used to sew them in stick straight out of the back of my head and are visible. They looked good for exactly two days. I was given no instruction on how to care for them, I asked several questions regarding care and was told only the two following things "use a heat protector, and be careful combing them". After washing them, they looked like a horse tail, and I was laughed at (literally) by two girls in a store. I wasnt told to use special products which I have since discovered is a neccessity, nor the other long list of things you must do to keep them looking normal. I just figured out how to care for them, courtesy of a hair forum, and now they are FALLING OUT! I paid 600 bucks to wear hats on my head for a week! Of the three rows only one is still completely intact. I had a consult where none of my questions were really adressed, that should have clued me in. The stylist seemed more concerned with getting paid, than with answering any questions. The place also had the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Its like they managed to find all the rude girls from high school and employ them in one place. Youd be better off buying clip on hair, you would be happier!
- Pros: I'm very picky.
- Cons: Don't go here!
Overpriced
by tayler54
Are you kidding me? They are so overpriced and ya, they're great but I can go anywhere and get the same for half! I wouldn't spend the money :(
You must try this place!!!
by oneeyedwilma
I am very picky about my hair like most women are. I have had problems with not being listened to. but I tried salon keiji, and I have found the perfect place. I had calvin and I must say he is amazing all around. funny, nice, outgoing, and he REALLY knows what he is doing and what looks good. He made sure to ask enough questions to know just what I wanted. I was really nervous to try a new hair style but calvin made me look and feel awesome.
- Pros: great people and great hair
- Cons: have not found one
Professional and Fun Atmosphere, but best of all, I LOVE MY HAIR!

I had the pleasure of meeting Graig at Salon Keiji this weekend. It was my first time in the salon and I had scheduled highlights, lowlights, and a cut. I totally lucked out by getting Graig as my stylist. He is friendly, funny, and cute! He was also psychic, because despite my inability to explain what I wanted, I left the salon looking and feeling like a million bucks. Graig was quick, but thourough, with the color, which turned out gorgeous. He really took his time on the cut, cutting both wet and dry. It's been two days now, and I have had so much fun playing with the cute modern versitility of this cut. It's just awesome and falls great whether I curl it, wear it with my slight natural wave, or flat iron. I'm so glad I found Craig and Salon Keijo. They will be hearing from me again soon.
- Pros: Stylist's (Graig's) mad good skills, comfortable and professional atmosphere
- Cons: None
I would trust my hair to no one else!
by BrewLover
A friend of mine at work always had the CUTEST hair cuts and her hair always looked so healthy. I asked for her stylist and she gave me Lindsays card. I have been going to Keiji for over a year now and would trust my hair to NO ONE else. They can do it all and have the best service. I am happy to pay the price when I know I will not regret it. You will never feel a better scalp massage either!
- Pros: Everything!
If you want a professional job that is EXACTLY what you want, go to Salon Keiji's
by curlew
My family has been going to Keiji's for over 10 years now, and has made it the only salon we'll go to. Originally, Li was doing my hair, but she recently moved to California. Now, Jihee is my stylist, and if you want the friendliest, most attentive stylist who will make sure you have exactly what you want, I would suggest her. She has my HIGHEST recommendation. This salon is friendly, professional, has a fantastic atmosphere and has incredibly talented stylists. It is a little expensive, but with hair, you truly get what you pay for.
- Pros: Professional, talented, experienced, wonderful ambiance, great scalp massages, expert color
- Cons: Expensive
You'll love them!

I came in after a bad experience at another salon. Kasey fixed what the other salon had done and my hair looked fabulous! This salon is very trendy and not that much more expensive than anywhere else. The sylists are very experienced, helpful and friendly.
The best

I'm a very picky hair person and I have gone to Salon Keiji for 5 years and would never change. They are always up to date on the latest styles and my hair has never been healthier. I was a salon-hopper before, but now I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else.
