Stunning arrangements by Heather S. at InsiderPages
Contributor at Insider Pages
I have always had good experiences with the flowers that I have purchased from Skyline Flower Gardens. It is located conveniently on the way home from work, so I can pop in and make my purchase. I love to have a fresh flower arrangement in my home. It really adds to the feeling in my home.
Prices are really good and you can go in, pick out what you want and one of the on staff florists will make you a beautiful bouquet. I recommend getting a wild flower assortment arrangement. Also, the roses are huge and very pretty.
Beautiful flowers and prices
by auragal at Citysearch
I ordered an arrangement for someone at St. Marks Hospital at 9:30 a.m. It was delivered at 12:00 noon the same day. I was at the room when they were delivered and they were stunningly beautiful and didn't even cost $40.00. I will take a run-down building and a little less in customer service knowing I will get beautiful flowers at such a reasonable cost. Thank you Skyline.
- Pros: Absolutely gorgeous arrangements
- Cons: None
Would not purchase from Skyline Floral again.
by Jessy70 at Citysearch
I decided to check it out, I figured I could put up with poor customer service if I got exceptional flowers. I told them I wanted a large cheery bouquet, and that was the last say I had in the flowers. They had no pre-made arrangements to choose from or examples. When they finished with the arrangement, I thought it was alright but not exceptional but felt obligated to purchase it. When I asked if they could make a change because it seemed like there was something missing (meaning a spot not filled in) they told me I was looking at it wrong and the bow just had to be moved. Their prices were NOT exceptional, their flowers were not that great and the customer service, well there wasn't any.
- Pros: None that I could find
- Cons: Dull, drab, dirty shop with average flowers and prices with 0 customer service.
Personal touch and the most beautiful flowers in Salt Lake City
by Tunaqueen03 at Citysearch
When my neighbor across the street died last week, several families joined together to send some flowers (even though they said in lieu of flowers). We took a card around and had all contributors sign it which we intended to leave with the florist to be delivered.
(We were debating who to call when I remembered the wonderful experience I had three years ago with Skyline Flower Gardens for my daughters wedding. They did all the flowers- The bridal bouquet roses, centerpieces roses, cake topper , corsages, and toppers were beautiful, fresh and the service was wonderful! Perfect flowers for a perfect day! and the price was extremely low!- so if you need wedding flowers this place is a miracle! But that's a different story)
We didn't know what kind of arrangement to send and had lots of different ideas. My neighbor and I made an appointment ahead of time with Sandra at Skyline flower gardens. We were greeted upon arriving and then sat down to discuss the possibilities and our budget. Sandra (who is extremely courteous and polite) knew exactly what we needed. We were glad we trusted her professional expertise and listened to her advice because the flowers and the arrangement which was delivered (with our card) to the funeral were absolutely stunning (more exquisite than anything else there by a long way). We know the family will really enjoy this one.
It took some extra time to get there, and yes, many people speak spanish in Utah, but Skyline flower gardens does it right; the old fashioned way- with a personal touch!
- Pros: Beautiful flowers- customs arrangements-great service-reasonably priced!
- Cons: none
Serious Customer Service Issues
by Jenn505 at Citysearch
The only good thing about this place is that the prices are great, however these people have no idea how to run a business and customer service means nothing to them. But if your looking for an inexpensive way to send flowers this is it, just don't expect anyone who speaks good english to answer the phone and expect some level of rudeness from each and everyone of their employees. I've ordered several items for our company through these guys but after todays experince the walmart style cheap prices just aren't worth being treated like that!
- Pros: Prices
- Cons: Customer Service, Lack of Professionalism
Excellent Flowers, Excellent Price!
by reviewthis at Citysearch
Skyline has taken care of many of our funerals, illnesses and celebrations for us. They have been the biggest and brightest flowers at any event with many compliments from everyone. At every event they have been there on time and at the cheapest price for the quality and volume.
If I had a movie star friend who was ill or had an event, and I could use any floral company of my choosing, I would easily use Skyline Floral and be confident knowing the quality, volume and beauty was excellent. My experience has been the recipient or viewer of the flowers always wants to know where the flowers came from.
- Pros: High quality and volume at the lowest price in the valley.
- Cons: Delivery is a little more expensive further out from their location.
Extremely Bad Customer Service
by alex1840 at Citysearch
If all your looking for is cheap flowers, and don't care what you end up
with, you'll be fine at this flower shop. However, if your looking for help planning your event, good customer service and standing behind their
product and workmanship.....forget it. I had an appointment with the
wedding planner, she wouldn't show me any pictures because she didn't
know where her books were. Finally, the order was placed and paid for
with a check. They don't accept cash or credit cards. I even paid extra
for a particular type of flower. Later, we had to add a couple of boutonniere's,
so I called two weeks before the wedding, left a message with no return call.
I called again with no return. My daughter also called and was told to leave
a message. I ended up calling again and was told she was in but with a customer, I knew she was leaving town, so they did put her on the phone. We went over the order in detail. When my son went to pick up the flowers they weren't ready and he had to wait. All this, after being ordered 2 months in advance with one minor change. Finally, I received the order (wrong boutonniere's and missing a corsage.)
Now, 2 hrs out from the wedding, we had no choice but to use what we had
been given....minus a corsage. I called first thing Monday morning and left a
message, 3 days later my call was returned. This woman got on my case
immediately, stating, well, mistakes are made. She was soooo rude, I
couldn't believe my ears. When I told her it was very embarrassing not to
have a corsage for a mother, she said, that isn't embarrassing, death is
embarrassing. (What's that about?) I didn't agree with her refund offer
and was told, since I used the flowers, by law, they didn't have to do anything
for me and to take it or leave it that's all I was getting. Besides all this, the flowers in the arrangement were wilting within a couple of hours. Go figure.
Beautiful flowers, bad customer service.

I went into Skyline flowers with my fiance, we had set up an appointment prior to going. The lady that attended us was so mean she didn't show us any visuals and told us she wouldn't because they were too busy with mother's day flowers. I think they had bad customer service. The prices are unbeatable. If you can put up with someones attitude you should definitly go because the prices are unbeatable and the flowers are beautiful.
- Pros: Good price, beautiful flowers.
- Cons: Bad customer service
Great

I would recommend this place to all High School and College students looking for corsages. They are helpful for those who don't have any idea what to choose and always have the best flowers. I have gone there several times for corsages and other flower arrangements and they have always been great. (They are also inexpensive).
- Pros: Quality, Customer Service, Inexpensive
The Best kept Secret in Utah
by ghanzi at Citysearch
Skyline has done two of our kids weddings and we will surely use them again. I highly reccomend them to anyone planning a wedding. I have also taken flowers to funerals from Skyline and they are always the biggest and most beautiful there (as well as the cheapest I'm sure). I think they are the best kept secret in Salt Lake! I like that you just call them up and tell them how much you want to spend and they work within your budget.
- Pros: beautiful variety, fast service, unbeatable price
- Cons: no delivery, no credit cards

I had them do my whole wedding flowers, bouquets, flowers for the cake, for the tables, for the walls, boutiniers, coursages, I could not believe how cheap it all came to. I would recomend them to anyone.
- Pros: great quality, did what I wanted, very affordable
