A Sugarhouse Landmark

Although the nature of Blue Boutique's products and style of store may not be for everyone, I do feel they are the best at what they do. The selection is enormous. The employees are well informed. (yes, on ALL items....i can't even imagine what those employee training meetings must be like!) The expertise of their piercing staff is known to be impeccable, which is a hard reputation to earn in this town.

I find the owner to be an honest business man and an active member of the Sugarhouse community. This loss of this landmark Sugarhouse store, as well as many ofther local businesses that are being forced to move from Sugarhouse, is a shame.

Awesome all the way around

I went into blue boutique on monday and I have to say I do not agree with the last couple reviews written whatsoever. They were very friendly, nice, helpful, and made me feel very comfortable even though I felt somewhat embarrassed, by the time I left I was completely comfortable and not embarrassed. All the people there seemed very knowledgeable about everything and showed their personality. The things I bought were a little overpriced but I got home and they are very high quality and my wife loved all of it.

I have worked in customer service for 14 years and they are excellent. Not only are they very helpful and know what they are talking about but another huge thing I noticed is that they get along well with their fellow employee' s as well. Working in customer service I know that working as a team is the only way to have a successful business.

Love Hate Relationship

Blue Boutique has a great selection of merchandise. It's the kind of place that always urges me to make a purchase or two.

I will admit that it is overpriced and some of the locations are trashy, but the clothes, toys and body jewelry make it worth the stop (sometimes). Even if you just want to look around with girlfriends or a special man friend.

The biggest downfall of this boutique isn't the high prices. I can handle that. I think the one true genuine problem they have is their staff. They are rude, snippy, pushy and unprofessional. The girls there remind me of cliques from junior high, just with the addition of cheap tattoos. I get better customer service at the taco carts on State Street.

I went here to get a piercing and the piercer was offensive, immature, rude and inappropriate. I was tempted to ask him to take the piercing out and give me a refund so I could just go get it done by someone with manners.

ups and downs

It would be nice if they took more styles of clothing and in more sizes then Small and Medium. I do think they have a great selection if you are a size 7 but for the real girls not much is there. Lots of wigs that are overpriced and shoes that are too well worn. Employee's are of no use to you and when you go to have them purchase items they are rude and unpolite. But what can you expect from a grunge store. It's sad that this great fun idea of an upbeat hip exchange store has to be so worthless to the average person.

Worst customer service

expensive; bad customer service; managers even refuse to fix problems; There are awesome alternatives; shop elsewhere; my reason.....

Blue boutique is a crappy little store that Cares only about $money$ and not the customer.

My experience.....when buying items not one person was around to help.

I had to tracked down Sarah some considerable effort, and she helped me very little.

Sarah reassured me that if it didn't work out, I could RETURN the clothing.

I returned 4 days later, they refused to RETURN the items, only exchange them for store credit (not what I was promised).

Sarah claimed in front of the manager that she had not helped me then YELLED at me in front of other customers when I called her on it.

obviously upset, I left and called the district manager, Janae, who was unsymathetic, and offered me only store credit &10% off any purchase.

When I went back to claim this offer, the attendant said the store will not honor any returns even for store credit.

District manager has not yet responded to my emails to fix the problem.

I clairified the exchange/returns of the strore BEFORE I made a purchase, but they would not do what they promised

Bottom line: GO ELSEWHERE!!!

let's spice it up..... perrrfect

if you are looking to add some excitement and need some new toys this is the perfect place where you can find anything you can think of. The girls are awesome and more then willing to help you on anything that you can't find.. I have also had my tounge pierced here and the guy who did it was awesome. Some may say the prices are a bit high but hey you can walk in and out and not have to wait for your order to arrive in the mail for that hot date night,, weather it's w/ your love or by yourself!

An Anomaly in Utah

I love this store, mostly because it's really the only place in this state where you can find all things deviant under one roof. They are pricey (WAY more than you can find anything on the internet for), but I appreciate the opportunity for a hands-on examination of what I'm buying. Contrary to the other reviews, I've always had great customer service here (especially in the back room) - sometimes we just have to ask for what we want, people. The variety and selection in this store is impressive, and I've rarely been disappointed with any purchase.

The Scene
Oh, sure, you think you're worldly and sophisticated. You've had some "experience." You know the anatomically correct names for "things." Visit the adults-only room and this illusion could be shattered. You're likely to encounter items you never knew existed and devices whose functions aren't immediately apparent. Don't be afraid to ask--it's never too late to learn.

The Goods
There's a reason this is called an "adult" store. Adventurous adults can find lingerie, leather clothing, harnesses (for people--not horses), vinyl dresses, shoes, feather boas, gifts, body piercing and massage oils. And in case you were just, you know, curious, $60 is the average price of lacy French-maid outfits, leather bras and harnesses. The giant-lips pillow is a steal at $10.

Love the variety in this store!

I love this store! I've been going here for about 10 years, & reccomend it to all my friends. Great for unique, funny, sexy, or that out of the ordianary purchase. This store has so much variety. I would highly reccomend it to any one. It can be a bit pricey, but the quality is up there to back it up. They also have fun Halloween costumes in the fall.

This store is filled with nothing but trash. The only time I would go in there is if I was trying to find a white elephant gift for someone or getting a gift as a joke. It the type of place that if you go in there you want to scrub yourself clean after you leave. but they do have friendley people there.
