I was thoroughly impressed with Koi studio and VERY glad I chose it for my recent piercing. They took great care in every process and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything. Follow up call was a pleasant surprise~

All my friends that have piercing, all ways told me that KOI is only one place that they get there's done, and now i know why. I went in for a septum piercing(my first piercing as well). The lady that was helping me was extremely helpful!!! She showed me all the types of jewelry that i could use and got me all ready to go. Then Jen took me into an extremely clean room to prep me for the piercing. Jen was super professional and explained everything thing that she was doing. Which made me feel really comfortable with her. In the end the piercing was so smooth that it didn't even hurt. This is truly the best place to get you're piercing done!

I went to koi on my 18th birthday to get snakebites and to get my ears pieced. The waiting room was filled with an amazing selection of exotic jewelry. Jen and DJ were working and they were very kind and proffesional. They answered what questions I had, and cleared up all the confusion I had about keeping my piercings clean. They took the piercings I had brought with me but the lip spikes I had brought in were too short to make up for swelling. Jen helped me pick studs that would look good with the placement I was getting. DJ did my piercings and I recomend him too anyone open for suggestion. He was extremely clean (changed his gloves 4 times) and very helpfull when it came to placing it so it would look good on my face specifically. He eased my nerves and explained to me everything he was doing. My piercings went great. However one of the lip spikes had a slight funny angle. He fixed it immediatly and helped me through re-doing the piercing. I'm going to return for any piercing that the future may hold!

- Cons: Free-way there is not fun.

I am also a first timer to this studio and was thoroughly impressed. I came in with my husband and got a VCH piercing ~ Very exciting. The woman at front was extremely helpful and answered all my questions ~ The energy in the building was amazing. The man who performed the piercing was also SUPER professional and very kind. I was MORE than comfortable! Recommended as 1st choice studio to everyone!
- Pros: they let me bring my own jewelry, saving me almost half on the piercing
- Cons: they MAY charge $2 on credit-card swipes- So remember to bring CASH

I went there to get an ear piercing and it was my very first time going to a place like this. It was different and I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but no matter what you're having pierced, I would recommend this place! The staff was highly professional and DJ my piercer was first rate!

Over the past 3 months I have had 2 piercings done at Koi. I keep returning because this is an amazing studio with an amazing staff. The girls that work the front are so friendly and adorable. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. They make anyone from any walk of life feel comfortable. As far as the piercers, they are truly the best. Ed (he's no longer there but I would still like to acknowledge the quality of the staff they bring in) did my first piercing which was a pretty painful one, he made me feel totally comfortable and helped me with placement which I'm SO glad he did, otherwise, I don't think it would have turned out as flattering on my anatomy. Patrick did my 2nd which is a surface anchor. I was totally freaked out and he made it a breeze. He eased my anxiety with humor and the placement is PERFECT! To top it off, as if I wasn't happy enough, he actually sent me a text message about a month later to make sure everything was going well. My friend had the same piercing done and she also received a text. I am so impressed that he actually takes the time to check up with past clients and wants to know whether their piercing experience has been good or bad. I wasn't expecting that. I have returned a couple times to buy more H2Ocean and every time they are always willing to answer my questions and even just chat. I bought a pair of earrings from there the other day and the female piercer (sorry I can't remember her name) did a taper test on me to see if the gauge of earrings would fit me and again, I was impressed way beyond my expectations! This studio goes above and beyond in every aspect of their business, from the selection of unique jewelry, to the passion of the art, to the cleanliness (I think this place is cleaner than most hospitals), to the care of the customer. Koi is by far the best piercing studio in Utah and in my experience the US :)

I've been to Koi for multiple piercings and have never had a bad experience. I recently went there for 4 surface anchors on my hips and Patrick was my piercer. He did an excellent job and both making it a confortable environment and with the piercing itself. The rest of the staff was super nice and you could tell they definatly cared about the well being of all the people who came there. I would definatly recommend going here for your piercing. I would especially recommend Patrick as the piercer, however they are all amazing and I know the experience would be a good one regardless of who you does it.

I had been looking into having my nose pierced for a while, but was concerned about the possible complications that could arise from it. Went into Koi and the receptionist was excellent in politely answering all of my questions and putting me at ease. Very clean, nice environment. D.J. (or maybe it was E.J.) did the piercing, and was very sweet and polite. Made sure I was comfortable, and made conversation with me. Explained everything he was doing, and what it was for, as he was doing it. Told me to take a deep breath, then pushed the needle through. It was a fast pinch, then my eye watered a bit. That was it. He even wiped the tear off my face so it wouldn't mess my makeup up! What a sweetheart!
HIGHLY Recommended!
- Pros: Fast, Low Cost, Nice atmosphere.
- Cons: None! Parking was fine, Saturday at opening time.

When I got my piercings at Koi, everybody and everything there was great! My piercer was Patrick and he was very professional, did a great job and put me at ease even though the area he was piercing was rather painful. The prices you pay for the services you get are great. I would definitley go back there!

I recently went to Koi to get my eyebrow pierced, and had it done by Ed. I cannot say enough about the place. This was my first non-ear piercing and I was incredibly nervous, but Ed and the girl working at the counter were very soothing and sweet, and made the experience incredibly enjoyable. The piercing was fast, clean, and very professionally done, and I barely felt a thing. Ed suggested a placement for my piercing, and explained why he thought it would look best there, and made sure it was exactly what I wanted before actually piercing it. A few days after, a bruise formed (I bruise really easily) and it started bleeding, and I called to check and make sure this was normal, and they were very knowledgeable and insisted that I come in at any point if I wanted someone to check it out. The service was fantastic, they make you feel very valued as a customer and they have a very clean environment. If you're getting a piercing done, choose Koi!
- Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable, clean, personal, professional, experienced
- Cons: Small parking (this isn't a problem at night)
