Heaviest Pizza I've Had

I've visited The Pie in Salt Lake several times, and each time I leave I feel slightly sick from the amount of grease consumed. They put far too much cheese on each pizza and the sauce has a slightly chemical taste. HOWEVER, the pull aparts are great and it's a good place to get a beer and just chill.

I love the cheese pull aparts they are so yummy and the pizza is the best in Salt Lake. Big portions and moderate priced. Attomsphere is fun and great location. Would recommend stoping by or getting delivered either way you can not go wrong!!!

Great pizza

Good service, great portions and yummy pizza. If you haven't tried this place yet, you need to take time to do it. It's nice to have a change from your regular pizza place. The pizza's are huge with lots of toppings, very tasty. They salads are great too.

Best pizza in Salt Lake.

The Pie Pizzeria at 1320 E. 200 South downstairs is the best pizza in Salt Lake City. Order the Pie Pizzeria pizza at this location only. They have an oven that is probably 25-30 years old and it does make a difference. The other Pie locations are good but this one is great and it's all in the oven.

The regular Pie Pizza is good but the THIN CRUST is awesome! There is no comparison between the two. If you like thin crust, New York style pizza this is only one of two places in Salt Lake City to get it and of the two, this is the better pizza.

For years my wife and I wondered what was so great about the Pie and after ordering the thin crust pizza we found out why people flock to it.

Last but not least, the downstairs location is fun. It's dark and noisy, but it's loaded with personality. You can even write your name on the brick wall for posterity's sake. This is a great place. Don't forget to order the large beer on tap or the homemade rootbeer.

Memorable Pizza!

I won't get into whether it is the best or not but the whole experience is a worthwhile endeavor. I worked on campus for over 20 years and have been to The Pie many times. It definitly is one of the things I miss since moving to Florida. It is a one of a kind experience! I have rarely had seating problems but do wish that the sound on the TV's could be controlled. Excellent staff!!!

Don't forget the cookie dessert!

Awesome Pizza - great college atmosphere. It is very dark and everyone has signed the walls. It is worth the wait in line, especially after a day of skiing when you really want to carb load. Don't forget to order a "cookie" for desert - half baked chocolate chip cookie dough smothered in ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce. YUMMY!!!!

Sorry-I'm from NYC and this ain't pizza

Pizza is fairly simple. Good crust, good cheese, good sauce. The Pie lacks all three. However, in an attempt to cover this up, they load on so much cheese they hope people do not notice the poor quality. This creates such an imbalance that it is basically inedible. But it seems this works because people here seem to love it. The basic pizza test: hold the pizza vertically- on a good slice of pizza, the cheese will not slide off. Try this on one of the Pie's slices. Fails miserably.If you are in SLC, check out Tommy Angelo's in Clearfield.Or John's pizza in NYC! That's pizza!

Good Pizza

Bottom Line: the Pizza is really good. Gourmet toppings are available (my fave is Chicken Artichoke Hearts Sundried Tomato). It has a lot of cheese and can make you feel sick, but in a good way.
