Amazing food
by jpjuga
The Rodizio Grill was definitely amazing food, but my main reason for posting this is that I'm trying to find a girl that I met there. I didn't get her name, and she left too quickly for me to get her number.
If you are reading this, it was today (Wednesday, September 24th) at about 7:30 P.M. You were with a group of five other girls, and I was at a table/booth with two other guys and wearing a blue shirt. If you see this, find me on Facebook. My name is Josh Pothier and I go to the U.
Hope this works! But the food really was awesome.
- Pros: Great food, great service
- Cons: None
not the best choice we ever made
by bloombot
While I found one item that came by that was good-- there was nothing making me want to return for more. The gourmet salad bar was a bunch of trays of romaine lettuce with different things sprinkled on the top, along with canned olives and some salads that tasted straight from the box. And The feature meat and cheese tray was pepper jack and cheddar cubes from walmart and Turkey pastrami( one step up from bologna). Chuck-a-Rama puts on a better spread, and if you want truly amazing--in the same price range go to THE ROOF, by the time you add drinks and desserts at rodizio you are right up to the same price point as THE ROOF. We chose to rodizio as we had heard good things, We were sadly disappointed. The service was OK, but the food quality is where they missed the boat. The beef tender was tender enough to chew, but everthing else was so dry or tough that my jaw got tired of chewing. And if your after exotic, The most exotic things we saw where quail eggs( they say they're and aphrodisiac) and chicken hearts--YUMMY). I probably sent more food away uneaten that I actually ate. The pineapple was OK, but the other appetizers were bland and tasteless-- The banana was kinda a flashback to baby food days. Nothing in the "FULL RODIZIO" left us wanting more. We left hungry and went to The Bakery for a night cap to satisfy our need for good food. Anyway, If I need scarf and chuck, I'll go to Chuck-a-Rama, and If I want amazing "all I can eat", I'll go to THE ROOF, or sunday brunch at the Little America , or Grand America. But as for the rodizio, We Won't be back any time soon. Try if you like, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Happy eating.
- Pros: amazing concept
- Cons: everything else
Good Food Bad Service
by sumann
I met up with a large group of girls at Rodizios last weekend. When I arrived I asked the hostess about the reservation and she was basically clueless and had no idea who I was talking about. She was no help at all and gave me a blank stare. The staff at the front appear to be young and inexperienced, which is sad because the price of the meal is somewhat pricey. You would think the restaurant would at least find people with some intellect to run the front. 45 minutes later, I was able to find other people from my group, and I found out that they were all in a banquet room next to the restaurant, no thanks to the Rodizio staff.
The banquet room was okay, but there was a huge hole in the ceiling. That ruined the ambience. The food was good but some of the servers who brought the meat around seemed to be in a bad mood. The woman who worked directly with our party was very nice, it was just ALL the other staff that seemed to be off.
It was a weekend night so the restaurant was very busy. I would not recommend any large parties to come here. We made a reservation and we still had lots of problems with some of our ladies being directed to where we were. Seriously the girls who run the front are clueless. Rodizio should really consider making some staff changes.
- Pros: Lots of Meat
- Cons: Clueless staff

Average

I went to Rodizio Grill for my birthday with expectations but they fell rather flat. It pretty much is quantity over quality. You'd probably be better off at a steak house than eating here. It seemed more of a buffet quality than anything. The best meat was the medium rare sirloins. The salad bar was all right. The mixed salads were a little bit soggy and just average. The whole experience was just average.
Great food, interesting ambience

Very interesting and enjoyable! They bring the meats around to you on long sticks and cut it off for you right at your table. Very good side and salad bar. This would not be a place to go if you were wanting a quiet or romantic meal as there is so much interaction with the staff. But again, it is a great place to eat all you want and the food is fantastic! I will go back often.
- Pros: All you can eat, great food and lots of choices in every meal.
- Cons: Busy and lots of staff interaction

mmmmm Pineapple
by Joanna2781
Really enjoyed my experience here... the pineapple was by far the best. People always mention the wait as long but my experience was i had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The arry of meats was great and i will definately eat there again.
- Pros: Delicious
- Cons: pretty pricy
Great for meat lovers, bad salad bar the wait is terrible though

I love to go here with my family... we usually have about 10 of us. So we wait forever. But it's worth it to have all that glorious food brought to the table. The pineapple is the best. The host staff isn't great they do seem to spend all their time flirting but the waiters are good. Make reservations!!
- Pros: Meat, meat and more meat until you are stuffed
- Cons: You need reservations
overpriced & confused staff
by wabenaki
this place is overpriced. the wait for a table is ridiculous when you get in and see how many tables are empty. no one seems to know what is going on because the staff that isn't serving meat seems more interested in putting the moves on each other than serving customers. the food is so so. get something in the place that is sound absorbing so you don't have to shout to be heard by someone 2 feet away from you.
- Pros: none
- Cons: cluess staffing, ambiance, way too loud
