Coming Back!

Club Axis was very poorly run towards the end of its days. I am thinking about bringing the club back. If anyone hasn't heard the club had a lien put against it a few years ago. Just recently it under went some fire damage. Just to give everyone a heads up I am thinking of either bringing Axis back to the original location, or even finding a better one. Still carrying all the same action packed nights as the original Axis. Bringing back an amazing staff that can provide the highest qualities services in the most professional manners. Catering to the clientel is what makes a club a club. Stay posted and spread the word.

• Pros: Everything you can imagine. PARADISE in the club life!
• Cons: That its not opened yet!

BEST MEAT MARKET SAD!!

Club Axis closed down a few years ago --- but if you were into the loud music, intense dancing, beautiful people, and a helluva good time..... This was the place.

• Pros: great people, great dancing atmosphere, loud and abnoxious
• Cons: long lines, it closed down

HOSTILE ENVIORNMENT

Poorly managed fair potentail club. The best if your on the hunt or have something to prove. But for a fun time with music and friends not exactly the place. If your making a film about meat markets gone wild then sure it is great.

Fun club

since the remoldeling of axis, the club is impressive. The crowd is very mixed in age and race, so there isnt anything you cant find there. The sound sysytem and dance floors are great! Its crowded, but when is that bad? Id rather not go to an empty club. Ive had a fun time every time Ive been there.

• Pros: parking VIP , drink specials, great live bands

Beautiful people, solid music and plenty of space for dancing, drinking and socializing.

The Scene
A hovering disco ball is the centerpiece of the large main dance floor, which is surrounded by a raised walkway, and a bar is set up on one side so you can refresh yourself throughout the evening. The club is divided into several areas: Annex 2000 has no alcohol and no age restrictions every night except Saturday, while the older crowd gathers in the Grand Ballroom to dance and drink. For those who like their music pumping and their vibe cool, slide over to the Video Chill Lounge. Friday is Gay Night and Saturday's spin is Big City House.

Great Club

I dont get some of you people, one person says the bouncers are jerks and they will have to close soon but they are packed every night i go there, so i dont see that happening. Also everyone says its crowded...why is this bad? I dont know a whole lot of people who like to be dancing by themselves. The crowded dance floor at axis gives you loads of hot woman to choose from. Anyone in town should try out this club at least once

Axis is probably the best place to go if you are are looking for some fun boys on a Friday night. Definetly the only place to be for gay boys on a Friday night. But it really is the ONLY place for gay boys to go. PLEASE Salt Lake City, find us a new place to go!

good place to chill with friends

Its a good place to go with friends and mingle with new people. As far as meeting new people it lags a little bit. If you are looking for a pne night stand then the people are the best!

Get a clue...

The bouncers at Axis really need to brush up on current laws. It is a FEDERAL LAW to ASK permission to frisk someone. Everytime I have been to Axis, I get groped by the rude bouncers without prior consent. Also, your music in the front bar needs to change to a more relaxed vibe that encourages casual conversation. Listening to hip hop all night in the front bar when you play it the side area is overkill and annoying at best. But then again, this is Utah and Top 40 and hip hop rule clubland. At least the main dance floor, while too dark, plays good house music.

• Cons: Arrogant crowd, Weak Drinks, Rude Bouncers
