Great Comfort Food
by Snowbitten at Citysearch
Having dined here many times, the new location is much nicer than the old. The food is still the same; delicious!! I have tried everything on the menu. Love the brauts, red cabbage, spetzle and hot potato salad. Parking? - no problem, just go to the parking garage next door and as you check out of Siegfied's just as them to validate your parking stub and Viola- free parking.
I highly recommend giving them a try. And don't forget to grab some chocolate or dessert.

AUTHENTIC AND FANTASTIC
by LVMYLEGS at Citysearch
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AUTHENTIC, THIS IS THE PLACE. YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE FOOD. I HAVE FRIENDS THAT USED TO LIKE COLOSIMOS AND ONCE THEY TRY THE BRAUTS AT SIEGFRIEDS, THEY DON 'T LOOK BACK. BEST IN TOWN!!!!
- Pros: BRAUTS, SALAD AND ALL DELI ITEMS
- Cons: MISS OLD LOCATION
Oh man is that comfort food good!

This place is amazing! Very authentic German food, lots of imports, and a deli/bakery. The bratwursts are perfect! The fried potatoes! Hot Potato Salad! It is all so good. But if you are going for lunch, (great value) go early. Although they are extremely fast the line can stretch out the door daily. If you want the staff to kiss your butt and be super nice to you, this is not the place for you. They have a lot of customers and that European lack of sugary treatment, you will not feel special when you leave here, just full and happy.
- Pros: Authentic German Food that I love!
- Cons: Authentic German Food that freaks me out a little
Absolutely wonderful food

Siegfried's has a wide lunch menu selection. I happily travel from Utah county to enjoy a lunch of Spaetzle with brown gravy, Sauerkraut, Red Cabbage, any of the Schnitzels or Wei?wurst (although it is taboo to eat Wei?wurst after noon - it's just too good to pass up. Maybe I can talk the ladies into opening up for breakfast). Since I get full too quickly it is nice to have the deli bar where I can make a few selections to take home for dinner or put in the freezer for another day. I highly recommend Siegfried's for lunch or dinner.
- Pros: Food, price, proprietors
- Cons: Unorganized waiting line, but it is because they are so popular
Great German Food

The Wieswurst, Bratwurst, and Wienerschnitzl are wonderful. The red cabbage, hot potatoes and fried potatoes are very tasty. The food is marvelous if you love German food and is a must try if you haven't ever tried it. It always hits the spot.
- Pros: Location, price
- Cons: parking
Good German food at a very reasonable price
by doctor_stu at Citysearch
Weinerschnitzel is excellent, as are the brats. Red saurkraut is superb, and cole slaw is above average, as are the fried potato sides. You can get a full meal for around $7. Pasteries are good but not exceptional, but are only $2.50; about half the price of many places today.
Ordinary German deli
by ucla at Citysearch
The new location is a vast improvement over the old. There is a long counter overlooking the street. The cafeteria set-up is awkward at best. And no one seems to be overlooking the quality of the food. The pastrami is not to be ordered, nor is the sausage. But, the sauerkraut is very tasty. Good sauerkraut is not enough to get me to return.
- Pros: Counter seating, Street view, sauerkraut
- Cons: , parking, food
Wunderbar!!!

Having spent some time in southern Germany, I am elated to have a place to go to have some nice German home cooking. I always leave with something from the store. It also gives me a chance to speak a little German with the workers. I suggest anything on the menu. It's all good!
- Pros: real German food!
- Cons: too small of a place, too full around lunch
