Best selection of sandwiches in the city, hands down!. There are so many sandwiches, I don't know which one's I haven't eaten. They are outstanding and I recommend you don't pass up a side dish. I was glad to see they expanded so I could eat at one when I wasn't downtown. Get there early. I have seen some really long lines. But, trust me, they are worth it.

Ordinary sandwiches. How is it possible to ruin a meatball sandwich? Go to Gandolfo's and you will find out. Huge selection of sandwiches. I would rather have a huge sandwich, than a huge selection. You can't eat the selection! Locations everywere; none of which are worth finding. I would rather go to ONE location and get a really good sandwich from a limited selection. Oh wait! There is such a place. It's called the Grove Market! Go there instead.

Well, at least the Clam Chowder was yum.. Clam chowder's good, but the chicken is the shaped patty School-Lunch kind and the Bacon is undercooked, shredded Taco Bell lettuce. i don't imagine the bread is always the way it is when i have gone there, but all three (four?) times it was dry and the mayo was thick enough to sog it quickly. It is alot of food if you want value, but the quality is lacking. Capacola is more like, well, ham. I've tried the Park City one and the Sugarhouse one. But i can see, if you're a big hulking hungry man, why you'd choose it for the portions.

Think you have to go to New York for a good sandwich? Fugeddabouddit.. The Scene
This New York-style delicatessen is located above Murphy's Bar and Grill on Main Street. There's a large deli case with logs of cheese and meats as well as bowls filled with side salads. There are several tables are in the dining area where the walls are decorated with old black-and-white prints of New York City.

The Food
The sandwich board is a bit intimidating--there are more than 40 choices. Best to pick what kind of meat you like, then go from there. If you like chicken, go for the Godfather. It's chicken, marinara sauce and melted mozzarella on a hero roll. Meat lover? Try the Little Italy--ham, salami, pepperoni, onions and provolone cheese. All sandwiches are under $5. Side salads are nice for variety when you're munching on a huge sandwich, but they don't particularly stand out.

Good Sandwiches!. If you want some factory produced sandwich then go to Subway. This place has an insanely vast menu and their bread is far superior to any other sub place. Great prices too! I just wish there was another somewhere in mid-valley.

Cheap Date Food. Grab any sandwich here and head to the park/canyon/lake. Why bother with packing your own when they have it all here. The prices can't be beat. Ambience is non-existent so find a piece of the great outdoors.

Cheap eats to die for!. Gandolfo's has fabulous sandwiches at such a small price. You can get an 8 in sub (1/2 sand) for around $3 which is less expensive and SO much better than Subway. The full sandwiches are $5-$6 and are HUGE. There are so many choices and so many tasty ingredients to choose from. I suggest the philly cheese steak, or anything with pastrami. Their turkey is excellent too. Just try it, and I know you will love it.

Great Food. Haven't found anything that I dislike about this place (except maybe the line at lunch time). Try to go a little before noon.

Ohhhh Baby. One of the best sandwich joints in the Valley. I also recommend Simply Samiches, Nelson's Frozen Custard, the Italian Place and Tasty Donuts. Great sandwiches, low prices, downtown location. Murphy's is right below if you need a belt with your sub.
