Silver King Hotel
Perfect weekend. The Silver King was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. It was quiet and the setting is beautiful. (Of course I doubt it's quiet during ski season!) Everything was perfect for our visit.

The Scene
While it bills itself as a hotel, this property offers accommodations that can only truly be called condos, from the 800-square-foot one-bedroom units to the 2,000-square-foot
three-bedroom units. While the decor is quasi-Victorian, it's also only quasi-charming, but the location couldn't be better for skiers and snowboarders. The property stays crowded with vacationing families during the winter.
The Details
The indoor/outdoor pool is always warm, and the hot tub and sauna feel great after a day on the mountain. The self-service attitude of the condos is complemented by such hotel-style services as concierge, valet parking, housekeeping and room service.…
Fall getaway. We have stayed at the Silver King many times for our anniversary in September. We have always have had the place to ourselves it seems every time. The facilities are great. The rooms are big and decorated nicely. Having the kitchen is a plus although we usually take the shuttle into town to eat at one of many fine restaraunts. The hotel is just a short walk from the base of the resort. We take advantage of the great rates this time of year and recieve a discount as well for being a return customer.…
