The service was kind of slow and the the restaurant's overall appearance isn't impressive but the food is tasty and fairly priced. Don't forget to play the blue squares video game in the lobby.
Pros: Food
Cons: Overall apperance

Okay; I'll give it this: during the day, this place doesn't have much going for it. Before 10pm or so, the food is tasty, but still on par with a Denny's or an IHOP. Let's face it, the place is a little dingy, but for late night grub, it is beyond compare. The night waitress, Kelly, is super friendly, and always on point. The "graveyard" chef is fantastic. Amazing garbage hash, amazing omlettes, amazing french dips, amazing cheese fries. This place is not for the calorie counter, so it is a rare treat, but one well worth it. The prices are excellent, the staff is fantastic in the evenings, and I've never had a better "late-night diner" experience in the Salt Lake valley. Bottom line; it's so-so during the day, but if you're looking for late-night grub and a warm atmosphere; this is the place to be.
Pros: Fantastic late-night service and food, Parking, Value for money
Cons: So-so day service

flies, carpets that have never been cleaned since they were installed in the 60's ... it's disgusting. the food is great if you're into grease.
Pros: none
Cons: filthy surroundings, flies, dim service, greasier than greasy food

My sister and I had breakfast Friday and we loved it!!! The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent, and the prices are unbelievable. We both highly recommend the "garbage hash".

I will say the food didn't taste all that bad, but it is hard to enjoy if you look further than the plate. I am pretty sure they don't own a vacuum or any other cleaning supplies. The smell of air freshener when you walk in doesn't fool anyone with commom sense, most people know that if you have to use that much air freshener there must be something to hide. The restrooms looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in a year. I can't believe this place still makes any profit, everyone who eats here must either be partially blind or maybe that is how they keep their home so it doesn't bother them. It is scary to think that a business would present itself this way, what I wonder is if it is this bad in the front of the house, imagine what the kitchen looks like!
Pros: Open 24 hours
Cons: Everything else

We used to go there often for breakfast, My friend loves their waffles with whipped cram, but the last couple of times we went the whipped cream was sour. I don't think we will be going back.

I love the Belgian Waffle. It's casual, coffee is tasty, you get great service and the food and prices are great. My favorite is the garbage hash but their waffle with ice cream is also delicious. The whole family loves it. We usually go for breakfast, but their lunch menu has some tasty items on it too. My boyfriend loves their p0t roast sandwhich and my 16 y/o loves the burger and fries.
Pros: Great food, service and prices
Cons: there is usually a wait on the weekends

It IS a bit dingy and you might not expect much when you go in, but every time I've been there, I've had great service from staff who really seem to want to be there, and hearty portions at low prices. I've never suffered indigestion or other ailments from the fare, unlike the other reviewers. The coffee's good, and the wait for food has mostly been pretty quick. Garbage hash is always a winner, and even better with some eggs.
Pros: Good service, cheap, all-hours breakfast
Cons: Ugly decor, no beer

Belgian Waffle makes the best pies in the world, the pie lady is the best pie maker in UTAH. You have got to try her cocoanut cream, banana cream, triberry pie. it is the best. As for the other food at the Belgian, yeah, take your chances!

We used to go here often.. I like the food alright, but whenever I go at night the food takes FOREVER. I began to wonder if the waitress was the cook also. Seriously, over one hour to get our food. I also witnessed several health code violations on my last visit, and will not be back.
Pros: Food and price are ok
Cons: Unsanitary, slow service at night
