Disappointing

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to Color My Nails. I was on time, but the technician was running late and I had to wait for about 15 minutes.

The first thing I noticed when entering the salon was the very strong chemical smell. Second was the massage chair set up in the waiting area. I don't know about other people, but I was uncomfortable sitting in a cramped area while someone is getting a massage.

When making the appointment, I was assured that the technician was very good and had been doing acrylics for quite awhile. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst sets of nails I have ever had.

Best eye las extensions

If you want to get eye lash extensions,. Look no further. Go to Bre Anne at Color My Nails in Midvale. She is the BEST! She is quick appling them and they stay on. She is also really sweet. 801-562-2638

I love this place!

I had heard about Color My Nails and thought I would try them. When I walked in I was surprised that they were white and not Vietnamese. (It's hard to come across nice salons anymore). I went to Tracie and I loved loved loved her!! The conversation was great and my nails look fantastic!! They are perfect. Plus when it was time to pay the bill, it was not too expensive! This is now my new salon and Tracie is now my new nail tech! What a great experience!! Can't wait to get a pedicure there.

Great Acrylics

I go to Chris Angell to get my acrylics done & she does an amazing job! I go on my lunch break & am in and out in 45 minutes. Not only that, but I am REALLY hard on my nails (I am a total fidgeter & former nail biter, so I am constantly messing w/ my nails & cuticles) and Chris always rises to the occasion & gets my hands looking pretty again. I highly recommend her!

Don't get gel nails done here!

I am sure that a lot of people that work at color my nails are skilled, but not the person who does gel nails. They looked less natural than the nails you can buy in the grocery store. The nails were very inconsistent in thickness, and who uses tips when they do gel? I thought the whole point of gel nails was to sculpt them and for the nails to be more natural looking than acrylics. I removed them right after I got them on, and the girls at the beauty supply that helped me couldn't believe how bad they looked, what a waste of $50.00! I have had fake nails before and removed them with very little problems, but when I got the gel off, my nails were totally trashed. I would not recommend getting gel nails done at color my nails.
