My Favorite. I love this place the food is really good! I recommend it. As for the other comments...I order take out usually and have only dined in once but our server was polite and food came quick. I order at least every two weeks and have never been dissatisfied with a meal. Way better than Pei-Wei, better price, quality and lots of quantity.

A complete dissapointment. I threw away 90% of what what served. It was over cooked, under seasoned, and my order was incomplete. It took forever to be delivered- over an hour, and was no longer hot by the time it arrived. This was the worst meal I have ever had. An utter waste of time and money.

Very good lunch spot and good takeout too. I've been here many times over the years. So glad their prices have went down and the food is good too.

Today I had the Mongolian beef and liked it very much. I especially like their fried shrimp - super yummy!

My drive across town, go out of your way Chinese place is David's Kitchen but when you need something in the area this is a much better choice then Panda Express or Pei Wei.

This is place is locally owned too so good prices, good food and you are supporting your town instead of buying someone a big mansion in California, just saying. Keep it fresh, keep it local.

Best Chinese food in town!!!. This is by far the best chinese I have ever had!!! I eat there all the time. Worth an hour drive or more!!

Hunan Express has gone down hill.. My wife and I used to dine-in frequently at Hunan Express, as we lived near by, it was convenient, fair-priced, and great food. We moved away a few years ago but we make it over there a few time per year. The past few times, we noticed that the quality of the food has gone down. Last night we went, for what will be our last time. Prices have gone up tremedously, as amount of food has gone down. Service was terrible. The owner has always been gracious to us, but her teenage daughter that often manages the place is not much of a people person. The owners daughter was running the place last night, and she and our waitress had several friends loitering in the restaurant, acting obnoxious. The serving of ham fried rice was so small it was not even enough for one, plus there was no ham in it. The sweet and sour pork was nothing but grease and pig fat. And to make it worse my water tasted like it was dipped out of a fish aquarium. We had no desire to even take home leftovers. I could have had a better meal at Panda Express (meant to be an insult).

i will never patronize this business again. I have , over the past several months ordered delivery from them. Half of the time, I would find several things that i had ordered , and paid for missing. Finally, this past friday, It was the straw that broke the camels back. I placed a large order for delivery, upon opening the bags , I found 2 appectixers, and 1 entree missing. I called them to get It corrected, and they said they would have to call me back. 10 minutes later, 1 of the owners ( a female) called me, and said that i had been given every thing I ordered, and read off a order that wasnt even close to mine. I challenged her, and was told, " You dont like IT, too bad, Im not sending more. You got what you ordered.You want more.. You pay more". I then told her that If she wouldnt rectify the situation, It would be the last time I ever gave them My business. With that, She mumbled a profanity in chinese, and hung up. I dont think she knew that i speak , and understand 2 dialects of chinese. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS RESTAURAUNT TO ANYONE!!!

Incredible food. Used to the wonderful Chinese food I grew up with in Hawaii (I'm a Chinese food snob, sorry), I was delighted to discover Hunan Express on 7000 South.

Everything is good, but I especially enjoy the beef broccoli, orange chicken, and the moo shu pork.

The Eng's are great proprietors.
