Expensive... but consistent.. I really realy love The Bakery. Every time I eat there, I walk out completely satisfied. And my 'usual order' always tastes the same as the time I had it before. I love the consitency this restaurant maintains. However, I do agree with some of the other reviews that the service could use some work. The employees never have really done anything to make me feel welcome. The food is great, but I'd be much happier if the service could further compliment the food. Overall, delicious.

good food but service sucks. i am a frequent customer. they overcharge me every second time, pkease look at your receipt when leaving. they are slow. I like to drink tea and asking for a large pot because it will take forever to get a second cup. also there are a lot of people working there, but they move slow and a little rude, the attitude like whatever.... Alina works there, she is a nice girl, gives me excellent service, Elizabeth - dont talk to her, rude and takes stuff personally

Still is the best so far....!!. I am a NYC city girl who fell in love with Salt Lake City and I had made a crusade to look for really good European style bakeries in Salt Lake. And so far this is the best! I do not know what SLM was thinking when it awarded Les Madeleine's with 2010 best? I make it an effort to try as many bakeries in SLC. When I tried the SLM winner for 2010, which I purchased $100 worth of assorted pastries to share with my Class the items where horrible! Not sure it was a bad day, BUT I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO GOURMANDISE!! They are doing a really good job with their pastries, but the service can be shotty sometimes!! So a recommendation on improvement of service should be noted!

the best desserts. this is easily one of our favorite places to get carry-out desserts, cakes and i even occasionally will get a bowl of soup. they have a large seating area too, we just usually will get our pastries to go, we love this place!

Hands-down, the best pastries in Utah.. This place is so amazing! beautiful patio, delicious handmade pastries. If you like baklava they have it, but the Galaktaburiko is a must-try. The fruit tarts, cakes, rum balls, Kahlua Cheesecake...anything is delicious! Cheese-topped rolls for 55 cents are a bargain. But the Chocolate Decadence cake will change you forever.

Only open till 10 weekdays, 11 weekends now.

Wonderful Experience. Gourmandie's represents one of the best lunch spots in Salt Lake City. Charming atomosphere, wonderful fare, and excellent service make it a must. Not to mention killer tiramisu!
