Wow this place is so much more than tanning. I love the teeth whitening. And the red light therapy is .....well amazing
@sara18star-To address your review, I
find it interesting that although totally surrounded by bulbs you are still concerned about a 4 inch max gap between the canopy & bed. Without those springs the canopy would weigh over a hundred pounds! And you need the gap to hold on to the canopy to open and close it, or your hand would get smashed! Since the bed runs on a computer there is no need to press the buttons & you're the only one who's complained about it. This unit is one of our most requested units in the RUVA Level & people who come in to town for JAZZ Playoff Games specifically ask for it. The point is, everyone who uses our services regularly gets a tan, although the price you paid, which is less than a hair cut or the majority of other personal services purchased by the average public, is still too pricy for the benefits you may receive. I guess instead of a tan you just want a cheap tan, and to some, price is the bottom line, never mind the results.
It just goes to show you how one invalid review can hurt a business. I have seen reviews, not only on Citysearch, but other sites that contain negative content about a business, and some buy people who haven't even been to the business, giving negative reviews based on their limited knowledge or just by reading others reviews. I think to much power in the wrong hands can actually be a detriment to micro business and the public in general, but I also have a voice, and I find that these "types" feed their own egos by writing reviews without proper knowledge. As per my experience, these people traditionally want something for nothing!
love this place!. I love this place! I like that they have so many options...spray tanning, lay down/stand up beds, custom airbrush and I'm most excited about the teeth whitening while I tan! :) they also usually try to have raffels or some kind of a good deal going on all the time. The atmosphere is pretty cool Too! I would say its the most " up scale" salon I've seen.
Not Worth the Money. Cool location but $14 for a Ruva bed is a bit ridiculous. It would be one thing of the bed was really nice but the buttons were cracking and it wouldn't stay closed all the way due to new springs. The value is just not there.
Suns A Beach is a great facility. It is very clean, well designed, and the staff are very kind and helpful. I burn easily, and with their expert opinion and guidance, I was able to build up a tan that I really enjoyed and felt comfortable with. They have several beds, and also a stand up sun booth. This is perfect for me because I'm very tall (6'9) and can't fit into a regular bed.
Scared of the rays? They have a spray booth, and also do custom airbrushing. I've utilized all of these services, and highly recommend them.
The atmosphere is great too. Very colorful, which helps on those cold winter days, and I love the music too. It's close to the Gateway, so I can shop or get some lunch, then pop in for some sun.
