My child attended this center for about
6 days before we decided it wasn't a good fit for us. If your child is used to a large center this might work for you. For us, it felt chaotic and inpersonal. Throughout the day there are classroom and teacher changes. They meet all licensing regulations and were nice but I felt that the teachers were mostly very young adults - not very mature. They didn't put my child's coat on for outside play because they didn't know what classroom it ended up in. One teacher told me that was the norm and not to worry about it because it was a warm enough day (I was wearing a jacket and cold). One day I picked him up and the teacher didn't even notice I had taken him out of the classroom because he was fixing a toy. I will say that overall the facility is secure - you have to sign in and out at a computer at the front desk. It just bothered me that the teacher didn't notice him leaving. The center is nice but the classrooms just felt a little wild. My child started to really dislike going and said that he was being bullied. He just got more and more sad about it. I think for older children their after school program is probably fine but for younger kids not the best choice. They did want feedback on my experience which I appreciated. I think these types of issues are probably normal for larger centers. We have our child in a small pre-school now and doing wonderfully. He didn't have any of these issues at the new place so I do think there was something wrong here and not just an adjustment issue.
