After a long day at work a pedicure sounded like just the thing I needed found these guys in the phone book. Great customer service. I'm sorry for the experience that Sara had with her eyebrows but I've had nothing but great experiences here. I've been coming to Pella Nails for a couple of years now for pedicures and acrylics. They are friendly, CLEAN, professional, thorough and a great place to go. I've been to other nail salons and haven't been nearly as impressed or happy as I am at Pella. Every time they ask me what shape I want my nails (honestly, I have had problems with this at other places), talk to me, give me a bottle of water, are very careful to not hurt me and thorough with my nails. And that's just my hands. The pedicures feel great and look great when they're done. They're always busy on the weekends so make sure you plan accordingly.…
DO NOT GO HERE!. I recently went here to get my eyebrows waxed before I had to go to a party. THIS PLACE IS GROSS! My friend, who just passed her state boards on cosmetology was standing there the whole time and the list of things he did wrong was endless. He didn't prep my face with alcohol, he used a stick that had already been sitting in the pot, kept using that stick, and putting it on my raw skin, hello bacteria? etc. etc. But then as he was waxing my friend watched him wax off half my eyebrow and make the "oh shit" face. He then asked me where I had my eyebrows done previously, I told him and he went oh that's why. He then proceeded to ask me 'what did you do to your eyebrow" "you pluck too much?" He was blaming it on me! I sat up and looked in the mirror and was horrified. Half of my eyebrow was missing! My eye is longer than my eyebrow, not to mention there was another chunk missing in the middle. And he was trying to blame it on me! Wtf? I had to go to a party like this! Needless to say I didn't pay and will NEVER be back. Unless you want a pertrie dish on your face and messed up eyebrows do not go here. I'm betting their nail salon is just as unsanitary and gross.
