Tips for Radiance Salon

Nice Salon but really pricey. I think the salon itself is really nice but I agree with everyone else about the free haircut coupons. It cost even more to get my hair done with the coupon then any other salon I have ever been too.

I did like my hair when I was done but it wasn't worth $150. I went to Radiance Salon only once because I couldn't imagine what my bill would be if I didn't get a "free haircut".

Maybe for my budget this salon is entirely out of my price range. I really liked the girl that did my hair but it is very hard to justify going to a place that charges almost double for what I get at other salons. It should not cost $150 to get blond weaved through the crown of my hair and a haircut. I didn't buy any extras even though they did try to sell them to me.

It was also annoying when the receptionist called me 2 months later to "confirm" an appointment I did not schedule. I even told the receptionist as I left that I was not interested in prescheduling an appointment because I felt taken advantage of when I found out the total.

Unfair bad review above.. Radiance employees know their stuff. Unlike the review above (venuspaint), I was NOT pressured at all into buying product, nor even rescheduling. Katie was personable, professional, and talented. She respected my experience with my own hair, gave her professional insights and opinions regarding my stated goals, and proceeded to give me a beautiful cut. Yes, it is pricey, if you are used to Great Clips, but reasonable, if you want a serene, professional salon experience.

Good haircut, crazy price. I went to Radiance salon to get my haircut and took advantage of the "free haircut". Katie cut my hair and colored it and did a fantastic job but from the time I entered the salon I was hit with the hard sell for product and extra services. I really hate that! The price with the free haircut was much higher than every other place I've been to even with paying for the haircut. The receptionist (Dale) called me back for an appointment that I never scheduled. Twice. I won't go back to the hard sell atmosphere and high prices.

Radiance Salon and its Reviewers. Simply put, Radiance Salon is a wonderful place to go...IF you have a sunny, pleasant disposition on life. It will be an awful place to go if you are one of the vocal few who have a little black cloud around your heads at all times. You know the types -- employee or customer: nothing ever pleases them, they're always critical, finding fault, and exploiting weakness in others. They are hardcore victims: "Why do these bad things always happen to me?" "Poor me." People like this are really looking for a psychiatrist who is also a hair stylist.

As for disgruntled employees...well, those types are everywhere as well. No matter how hard the boss tries to help them succeed, they always find room to whine, moan, and criticize.

I personally have had a marvelous experience at Radiance Salon. They have been gracious, kind, and professional in the services they offer. Tammy has been very excellent in her skills and services.

For those who are upbeat and positive about life, Radiance Salon is the place to get your hair done. If you're a sourpuss seeking employment, go work for yourself. If you're a potential customer who complains about everything, stay home and cut your own hair.

Wont Go Anywhere Else!!. Dana is the BEST!! She's got the experience & know just what to do to make you look & feel your best.

I'm not going to lie, it's a bit pricey, but well worth EVERY PENNY.

I told my sister how this is my splurge & I ALWAYS walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. So, she went to Dana for a cut & color & is hooked just like me. I've been going to Dana for years & will never go anywhere else.

The salon itself is updated, clean, awesome products & full service. Love It!!

Anne Bench at Radiance Salon. Ever felt like you couldn't tell your stylist what you want? Ever felt like when she cut or colored your hair you wanted to cry?

Well leave that woman immediately and go see Anne Bench at Radiance Salon. I get compliments about my color and cut weeks after she has done the work. I love the atmosphere of the salon and Anne is hilarious! You will not regret!

Found My Salon. My hair has been a wreck the las year from a bad hi-light over a year ago. Then my friend told me about Dana at Radiance and how she was able to fix her color. I went in hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Let me tell you my friend was right. Dana was able to make my hair perfect. I left the salon with a smile on my face and had so many compliments on it.

NoT SuRpRiSed.... I'm not surprised to hear of all the complaints from people going to this salon. I'm a stylist that worked there for them, and if only I could express to you EVERYTHING that goes on there. The best way I can sum it up would be; they are scam artists. They want to milk everyone for all they're worth, even the people working for them. They owe me thousands of dollars and I didn't realize I was being taken, till it was too late. They are far from being honest in their dealings with everyone. THE OWNER IS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE AMOUNT THAT SHOWS UP ON THE RECEIPT, AND HOW MUCH PRODUCT ONE BUYS, than on how satisfied the client is. Also, I found out they were doing kick-backs, unidentified income, false deductions and more... I have filed fraud and done all I can do, as far as me being only a stylist goes. I hope this post helps anyone who's curious about working there, or thinking about going there to try it out. Sure it's nice inside and in a great location, but don't let that fool you. You're better off trying out every other salon.

Gossip Girls, Shut Up and Cut My Hair. I cannot stand going to this salon. The stylists don’t talk to you, they chat with each other about trivial, petty nonsense in those annoying high-pitched voices! Part of the fun of going to a salon, is to have someone pamper you for a bit, so you can relax. I was so uptight from all of the teenage drama after my last appointment that I will never go back.

Hair Tragedy. I went in to have my haircut for my birthday and my stylist BUTCHERED IT! I was so horrified that I cried all the way home. I did call the salon later that day and they agreed to have someone try to fix it. When I arrived at the salon, the person that was “fixing” my hair acted put-out that she had to cut my hair for free. She spent about 5 minutes trimming the ends with a razor and sent me on my way. It was still just as bad as when I left the first time. So, not only did I have to look like a 4 year-old cut my hair on my Birthday, I will now have to wear my hair in a ponytail or under a hat for the next few months until it grows out enough to have another haircut. RADIANCE SALON RUINED MY BIRTHDAY AND MY HAIR! Aaaaaaaaaaaah!
