Tips for Century 16 Theatres

Once great, but not anymore..
I've been a patron of this theater for years, and this theater has been decent - one of my favorites in town in fact. But these days I'm finding myself 2 out of 3 times leaving the auditorium to tell someone about the poor sound quality. Why have walls lined with speakers for surround sound and then only turn on the speakers behind the screen? Also, it doesn't help telling anyone, because not once has the problem been corrected. Today I tried the other location in Sandy - same story. I got up and told two separate employees at two different times during the film about the poor sound. The second employee told me I had to tell the ticket counter person. I gave up at that point, not wanting to miss any more of the film. The problem was never fixed. I heard other folks in the theater commenting on the poor sound, yet nothing came of it. I don't understand why the quality is lacking so much these days, especially in certain cinema chains.
