I am in love. It's quite difficult to find a real Thai food around Utah. Everywhere is sweet and afraid to made it spicy. Kow Soi Beef @ spicy level 3 is plenty hot and very tasty. YeH! finish it with very yummy "Thai Ice Tea Ice cream", made my home sick go away for a while. And by the way, they are big portion and very reasonable price. I will be back ^'^

From a FIVE STAR to a ONE STAR! What a disappointment.. I used to be a frequest and appreciative customer of the Tea Rose diner. That was up until last night (9/20/11). Apparently Annie (owner's name - sweet lady, by the way) has expanded and opened a new restaurant off of 7200 South. Her absence at the Murray location is apparent. The service was horrible, the food portions were noticably smaller than they used to be, and the prices have seemed to sky rocket. I ordered lettuce wraps and yellow curry, and paid nearly 22.00, BEFORE the tip. I used to like this little dive thai place because it was a nice atmosphere, the portions were plentiful, the service and owner were always pleasant, and the price was right on target. After last night's dinner I have to say I would NEVER go back there again.

Don't even get me started on the lettuce wraps. Traditionally, an appetizer like that should feed 2-3 people, right? Well there was barely enough meat to fill three wraps, and I ended up being left with a whole lot of wilted lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, and mint leaves (not sure what those were doing in there). I am very disappointed in the downhill turn that this location has taken since the owner opened and expanded business. I would not recommend going here, unless you want to overpay for bad service, poorly prepared food, and small portions.

Heaven on a plate!. A Thai friend recommended this cafe to us. We were all hungry by the time he finished his description, it sounded so great, and we were NOT disappointed. The owner was so personable and fun. She walked us through the menu and brought us a sauce sample so we could decide how hot we wanted it. We took her recommendations, and everything was fresh and wonderfully flavorful. (Mango curry - oh, my!) Yes, it takes a little bit of time to get it, but this is not fast food! Bring someone you like to chat with, and you won't even notice or care - it's worth the wait. I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic authentic thai food!!!. My friends and I frequent The Tea Rose diner and we really can't say anything bad about it!! It has a very casual yet friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The staff will be on a first name basis with you after your first visit. It is one of the only restraurants that I feel completely comfortable walking in by myself or with a group. They make wonderful authentic Thai food and I can't say enough about the friendly staff, quantity of food or the price!!

Best Omelet, Very good Thai food. Try their omelet and Anny's hot sauce. Friendly service, Comfy, and pretty good size portion. The price is very cheap and resonable. The food is always fresh. My friends had curry and they really enjoyed it. They challenge you on the spicy curry. If you can handle spicy level 10, they will pay for your meal. TRY TRY TRY and YOU Will LOVE IT YOU WILL LOVE TEA ROSE.

Authentic Thai. The Tea Rose Diner has the most authentic Thai food that I have found in Utah. I hae spent several weeks in Thailand and have developed a taste for great, fresh Thai food. The Tea Rose Diner serves food that reminds me of Thailand. The service has always been friendly and courteous. I look forward to trying out the entire menu. No dissapointments yet!

My new place. Tucked away, kind of hard to find, but well worth it. Lazy boy breakfast "WOW" with some Anny's Hot hot sauce. Take a bottle home it's good on lots of things. I've tried just about everything on the menu, all yummy. This place is not afraid to use a little spice and yes it can get spicy.

Extremely Tasty Thai Food. Cute, cozy, comfy diner. Everybody's very friendly. Everything I have ordered, everything on the menu, just right . They can make mild or as spicy as you desire.. I love Thai food, I try every Thai restaurant in and out of town, Tea Rose Diner made the best curry ever. Great tea selection.
