Used to be good but now..... We went for the first time a couple years ago (The District) and it was wonderful! My husband loved that he could get a cold Tetleys and buffalo shepherds pie. Then we went back again with friends. Cold food and a snotty waitress that would walk right past us and we'd have to flag her down just to get a refill. Well, we tried one more time and it was DREADFUL this time! No cheese on the shephards pie, the mashed potatoes tasted like they had been frozen and the middle was still cold. The fish on the fish and chips was drowning in grease. To the point where the fish inside almost disappeared in the grease. The breading was soggy due to....well, the grease. I will suggest that you pass MacCool's. Unless they start getting really good reviews again, maybe that means they've changed their ways.

Ehh... We ordered a burger and lamb ribs. Our burger came out first (it was bland), and our lamb ribs came out twenty-five minutes later. The service is extremely slow and we saw our waiter a totally of two times (when we ordered and when we asked for our check). I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have at least 3 hours to spend on dinner.
