Murray >The Cheesecake Factory
Absolutely the best cheesecake place in town. Food is phenomenal as well
Ok if you are a large party. The menu reads like a novel so much to choose from. Huge portions and prices to match. The appetizer's came out seconds before the meal but all was good. We had a party of 4 and with the tip it was over dollars. Not complaining as we all had lunch for the next day. I would not however go as just a party of 2 because they sit you in rows like at a bar, not even 2 feet away from the next person.
COLD TO-GO FOOD WITH NO FRIES. How hard is it to get a pickup order right? The last two times I've ordered food for pickup they have either left out an item or served me food that was completely cold. Bread tasted as if it had been sitting out for an hour or so. First time i got the americana cheeseburger with fries. Got home and realized they had left out the fries. Ordered the burger medium well, came out rare. I couldn't even eat it. The second time, tonight, i ordered a blackened chicken sandwich with fries. The girl reassured me that everything was in the bag. I got home and opened up a sandwich with no fries, a wilted Luau salad and cold bread. The chicken was not quite done either. Could have used about 2 more minutes, and maybe let it rest before sitting it on the bun and allowing the bottom bun to be completely soggy. $36 and completely unsatisfied. Two times and I've learned my lesson. Do not order to go food from cheesecake.
Good food. Wait service varies. Some are excellent and others are mediocre. Poor lighting.
A bit crowded spaces.
Until recently, I had been to this Cheesecake Factory location twice. Once for my sister's birthday, another time for my friend's birthday. It was excellent; both times we had an outstanding server, great food, great environment in which to enjoy each other's company.
That said, I was deployed for a little over a year. Upon my return, I took my aunt and grandma here earlier this month. It was a polar opposite of my previous visits. They don't accept reservations; we had to stand in the cold foyer with one of those buzzer things for over 20 minutes. They seated us at a tiny table within six inches of two other tables with loud groups of people. The light over our table was broken. A busboy kept walking by and staring at me. Why don't you just take a picture?! We could hardly see each other and couldn't hear ourselves talk; not even the server could hear me.
And this server was anything but good at her job. It took her forever to bring us our drinks, and suddenly she started coming back every 2-3 minutes wondering if we were ready to order. The menu is HUGE, she should know better than anyone that it would take a while to make a decision. The third time came back in 10 minutes, she was obviously becoming impatient, so I settled on the white pizza. It wasn't very good, and when the server grated cheese onto it she also got it all over me, as well. Next thing I know she's rushing me to pay the check and get us out.
So lack of good food, ambiance, and customer service. However, the cheesecake I ordered (to go, of course) was AMAZING, as usual. That said, I would go to Cheesecake Factory again, but most likely not to this location.
Not impressed. Over priced. Crowded. Food was OK, but it's more hype than quality.
Addicting and tasty!. I work in the Mall and love this place. Everything is good!
Plain horrible: Rude and pricey.
I will try to be objective.
Last Tuesday I had a business meeting with an associate. When I came in nobody even said Hi. We sat down and started discussing the business. We ordered 2 beers and I went out for a smoke. The next thing I know is that the manager is asking us to leave. I don't know what his problem was, but he was an ass
I will never ever go back there again. And I don't recommend this place to you either.
Gone Downhill or Never on a Sunday.
My wife and I went to this place in 08 and had a really good experience. About a month ago we decided to take her mother out and went back. It was a Sunday.
They don't take reservations so you can't time your arrival. You get a buzzer and have to wait in a crowded foyer until they call you in. The service was on the slow side, but that is understandable since they are busy.
We sat down and after some time and breaking of bread, our orders were taken. I got the tons-of-fun burger which came out so charred as to be bitter and crusty. I took one bite and had to stop. While my wife and her mom were enjoying their meal, I sat waiting to order something else.
Waitress apologized and brought her manager. I explained the burger was meat was burned and they asked me to order anything I want from the menu. This was a noble gesture. I ordered the shepard's pie. As everyone else was finishing their meal, my second dish was brought out and it too tasted terrible. I couldn't send it back because we were out of time so I picked at it for a while and we left.
The waitress said Sundays are unusual for the Kitchen (I guess because the regular staff is off) and there are more complaints. In the end, we were charged full price for everything (except the burger) which makes me wonder what "order anything you want" was supposed to mean. At these prices it's reasonable to expect more. I have had better meals at Village Inn.
People go there just for the cake..
Prices are more than what you would pay to cook the meal yourself. Food is better than your average item, I would have to agree with that. But in the end if your taking your sweetheart out there, she really is just looking for the cheesecake at the end.
That is why it is the Cheesecake Factory, not the Cheesecake Restaurant.
