I love their waxing/Vishy shower combination. I had no discomfort after the waxing like I usually do when I get a waxing service. I would recommend this place if you are hesitant to get a waxing, the staff and quality were great.

This concrete nook on State Street offers a surprising selection of aggressive beautifying techniques.. The Scene
From the outside, Beauty and the Beast looks as unassuming as any other building on State Street. But walk inside and find an exotic atmosphere marked by lush plants and colorful decor. A friendly staff member will welcome you and give you a tour of the spa's circular design, complete with a sunny, full-service salon and multiple treatment rooms. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.

The Services
If you're in the mood for something unusual, choose from a long list of curious-sounding treatments. Try the Body Contouring Treatment, in which slimming products are massaged into your body's problem areas--it's unique to Beauty and the Beast. The spa is also one of the only places in the state to offer detoxifying lymphatic drainage and light therapy. More familiar offerings include body peels, hydrotherapy treatments and clay toning masques, and many treatments can be paired with a Vichy shower, or high-powered water massage.
