I visited the downtown farmer's market last weekend and picked up a scone from Beverly Hill's because I hadn't had breakfast. I usually don't expect much from scones---every one I've ever had has been dense, dry and pretty much a brick. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I took a bite of Beverly Hill's! Unbelieveably fluffy and moist. Thousands of times better than scones I've had elsewhere. I will definitely be tracking down her bakery to buy more.

Her cakes and pastries are the best! She's worked at all the great bakeries: the original Upper Crust, Pierre Country Bakery, Bakers de Normandie, Red Butte Cafe(Hazelnut Meringue is her creation!), Avenues Bakery... and now she has her own place! Beverly HIll's brand is available @ Dan's Foods, Harmon's neighborhood grocer, Emigration Market select Lee's Markets and both The Store locations. Don't miss out on her flourless Chocolate Cake...it's to die for!
