locals only. great art and sometimes music. the staff is rude/snobby/and promotes locals only vibe. the coffee is not good. teas are good. but how hard is tea to screw up...
Oh my this place is terrible. I had to wait 15 minutes for some guy to serve me when my friend and I went in the other day. I was asking myself seriously why I was waiting when there was no line. Then he(the employee) decided to take my order after he was done talking to his homeless buddies at a table. The coffee sucked it tasted burnt. My friends mocha tasted like he didn't know how to pull a proper shot. How can you ruin a mocha unless you are a serious retard? With all the chocolate syrup you really have to burn a shot to taste it. I doubt this place will stay in business long, the coffee was terrible. If you are thinking about going there let me save you a trip. Take your hard earned cash somewhere where they will treat you better, and they know how to make a proper cup of Joe. Nasty.
What About Coffee?.
I feel bad for the owner, because he seems like a cool guy, but him and his staff just can't make a decent cup of coffee.
I've had both good coffee and espresso out of state from Intelligentia, which I believe is what Nobrow is using, but they just can't make it right! There's bitter and some strange flavors in the espresso, and when I had a latte the milk tasted sour! What's the deal? To be honest, I think they are hurting Intelligentia's good name.
A few of my friends still like to go there because the space is big and they can hang out and study (until homeless guys go in and try to hang out with them.) I went with them a few times and both the service and drinks were aweful. It's sad.
Love it!.
nobrow has seriously the best coffee in SLC. In the summer they have the most amazing lemonade. I love the place it's one the best places to do homework or just chill out. The owner is super friendly and knows his S**t!
I agree with the other poster the mocha's are the best. I can't go anywhere else for my coffee now!!!!
Best coffee in SLC. This is my favorite coffee shop in Salt Lake City. It has great atmosphere, even better coffee and an awesome selection of teas. They offer free wireless internet access and a nice place to sit and have a hot beverage. On Fridays they often have free concerts with local bands. I recommend any of their mochas.
