I will give a brief summary of my experience with Kimberly Trupiano and leave you to make your own decision. My name is Victoria Sethunya. Having exhausted all means to obtain the student information USCIS requested from Weber State University to complete my application with USCIS, I asked Trupiano Law office to write a letter to Weber State University to demand evidence USCIS requested to complete my application then pending with USCIS. The evidence was: 1. The information the Designated School Official was to obtain from SEVIS Help Desk. 2. SEVIS I-20. After writing the letter, the office was to notify me so that we would talk about the contents of the letter, then, if we agreed, we would mail the letter to Weber State University. This was the plan. USCIS deadline was October 10, 2007. The attorney asked for a thousand dollar retainer fee. The office did not follow these three steps we agreed on. I asked for the money back so that I would find another attorney to represent me about seven days before her office withdrew from representing me. I did not get the money back. I filed with Small Claims to recover the thousand dollars. In Court, I became the Defendant, and she, the Plaintiff. The judge ruled in favour of the Defendant, $845.00. He said my claim had no merit. Since I could not obtain from the University the evidence USCIS requested, my petition was denied. I am now in America illegally. I purportedly lost my Immigration status to a Weber State University "glitch", which ""glitch" made it so I could not lawfully place my petition with USCIS. Even in this unlawful status, I applied to Immigration months prior to graduation. I am now here, ILLEGALLY. I came here, LEGALLY. The Trupiano Law office and I meet for mediation tomorrow, February 27th, 2008. I hope the United States Government will bridge the discrepancy in the law to leave people like me with no alternatives when Universities can not or do not hear.

I was wrongfully accused of a terrible crime. Kim Trupiano got the charge dismissed because she didn't give up. She always returned my calls quickly and was happy to talk about the case with me when I had questions.

Pros: Easy to find in Murray off of State Street, good parking

Cons: None really
