Tips for Puppy Lounge For Little Dogs

January 04, 2013

Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my babies, Mobley and Kasia. They are treated so well, whether for daycare or overnight stays, that I am never worried they're bored or lonely. As soon as we pull into the parking lot they get excited to go in and play with their friends, canine and human. Thank you so much for the wonderful care, service, and love you provide my dogs. I don’t know who loves The Puppy Lounge more: Mobley and Kasia or me!!

I just really wanted to thank you guys for taking such good care of Laska and Kiska over the weekend. Please also pass my compliments onto your groomer. Kiska has never smelled better, and her fur has never felt so soft. We are still in awe over how gorgeous she looks. They are always so happy, and tired after they leave, and are in the best mood even a couple days after they've left. We really appreciate all you do and we look forward to bringing them again soon. Thanks again!

Just had a look at your Puppy Lounge website and wish you had a franchise in Belfast Northern Ireland! I had to put my spaniel into a very expensive kennel last summer and cried when I picked him up, he looked awful, despondent, lost and sad to name but a few things. I think it put me off going away and leaving him! Just wanted to say your place looks fab and the furry babies look very happy! Well done!

Inflexible & inconvenient – open one hour for dog pickup & closed holidays –

They're hours are very limited; They were closed the entire labor day weekend, so when our plans changed last minute, we could not pick up our dog (wanting to pick him up whatever time was good for them when someone was tending to the dogs). They did not give us the business courtesy of returning our calls requesting pick up. Nor did they follow their own ‘policy’ of calling the day after drop off with an update (probably did not want to confront the situation). When they “re-open” on Monday, you have one hour (4-5pm) to pick up your dog (this one hour window applies to Sundays also). How can they think this is good & convenient customer service? My recommendation is to go elsewhere.

My dog's favorite place. The place is quite clean, the girls are sweet. My dog loves them, as soon as he steps there, he is excited, and happy, when he goes back to the house he is super tired.

Very Pink and Sparkly!!!. To say that this is the place to take your right-sized pup is an enormous understatement, you will LOVE these ladies. And they will love your dog. They will give your treats and food at just the right time (when you say!) and keep them company while they play with the other guests.

I have two dogs that regularly go to 'camp' at The Puppy Lounge, and they both go hurtling in for their day or fun. I've also boarded with them, and they take wonderful care of my precious dogs.

Dogs need to be under 30lb, and shorter than I think 15" at the shoulder. Both mine fit right in.

It's very pink and sparkly, and they dress up (the girls, that is) for holidays. I'm always happy leaving Murphy and Molly in their care.

Horrible. This is the worst dog boarding place I have ever taken my dogs to. The girls who work there are rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. They frequently make mistakes regarding dates of reservations or change the rules regarding what the dogs can have from home. They are rude and never apologetic. When I have boarded my dogs previously, they usually come home happy and tired. When I pick them up from this place, they are so eager to leave and full of energy like they spent a whole lot of time in a small cage. They have the most limited and restricted hours (ie. aren't open on Sunday, not open till 10 am on Saturday). After the way I have repeatedly been treated, I will never go back.

In the spirit of integrity and honesty it is important to respond to this review and address the other unfounded reviews that have been placed on our review page. As many people have pointed out to us, and as both Google and City Search have confirmed previously using IP Address technology, a competitor is responsible for placing the negative reviews on our site. We were hoping that they would see the error of their ways and stop this unprofessional behavior so we would not have to post this message. We invite anyone that treats people with kindness, respect and dignity to come to our facility for a tour, and that is exactly how we promise to treat you as well. Your pet is a member of your family and we promise to treat them as a member of ours.

Sincerely, The Puppy Lounge

P.S. We are open on Sundays from 4-5 PM for boarding pick ups :-)

Thank You Puppy Lounge! Love, Mommy and Puppy. We love the Puppy Lounge! I can’t decide who loves it more, me or my sweet boy Chewie. The staff has made us both feel welcome since day one. As soon as we walk in the door they greet us by name. Chewie loves hearing the cute girls say his name, and forgets to say good-bye to his mommy; he is so thrilled to be there. I love The Puppy Lounge for many reasons, one being the personal attention we receive. My little buddy is an excited boy and I appreciate the continuous attentiveness and help. I also love when I ask if he was a good boy that day they update me on who his favorite playmate(s) were for the day. It makes me feel certain he loves The Puppy Lounge as much as me when I see the fun he had. Chewie loves his friends and all the attention I know he receives while I’m at work. I have taken Chewie to other daycares in the valley and none come close to the care we receive at The Puppy Lounge. I feel confident that I’m leaving my friend in a safe, caring and fun environment. Thank you Puppy Lounge for the amazing service both mommy and puppy receive.

DANGEROUS!!!. I walked in and walked out after seeing giant groups of dogs that were big and small together with NO ONE WATCHING THEM!!! I saw a tiny dog get totally rolled over by a wild big dog. The place is smelly and dirty. When I said something to one of the employees (who wasnt watching the dogs at all), she was totally rude and didnt even care that the little puppy was in danger!

This review is obviously written by an angry competitor. I've been to all the day cares in Salt Lake City and Puppy Lounge is by far the best. It is indeed unfortunate that neurotic owners have to stoop so low as to put this poop out to make themselves look better. What a shame.
