I love the idiots who get fired from their jobs for either being stupid, drunk (jlutah), or incompetant (jemurray). If you have not guessed yet, yes I am also a former employee for Metro Protective Agency, and unlike these two losers, I was successful with this company. I know who both of these two are, and they were both two of the worst that could have ever worked for Metro. Through working at Metro, I got to know the owner of the company quite well and he is a very good person who takes care of the people who EARN IT!!! Metro also, by the way has one of the lowest turnover rates in the State for the security industry. How do I know that you might ask.... Check out this little gem, I did some research and did not come on to a web site and just start spouting garbage because I was angry that I got fired for being lazy, drunk and/or generally stupid. So for those that are out there considering employment in the security industry, do your research, talk to long term employees and not the angry ones that believe that a security guard should be paid $90,000.00 per year such as these two fine upstanding members of our society. The two operations managers for Metro have been at that company for many years and have EARNED the positions that they are in. I have personally watched these two gentlemen work 20 hour days in the trenches with their employees. They NEVER ask an employee to do anything they have not already done 10 times before. So dont believe the words of two disgruntled security guards, take it from a guy who knows and is also a former employee that would go back in a heart beat if called upon to do so. If these idiots have so much to say, why hide? Oh wait.... Its gotta be part of the Metro "connections", they will come get you if you stand up to them. So I say to those who have all of this rhetoric about how horrible Metro is, put your name up here, or are you afraid of being discredited?

Pros: Good company, small and intimate. Follow the rules very closely.

Cons: Retards who quit and screw the other employees.

I disagree strongly with the last two reviews. Going by thier user names they appear to be two employees who were fired for less than honorable circumstances. I have worked for several security companies in the valley and appreciate the fact that metro continues to challenge me, provide the opportunity for me to improve my skills and rewards me for accepting more responsibility. Those here that strive to do thier best and suceed are happy. I also know from experience that the Management and Supervisors take pride in what they do and strive to instill that in all employee's. I have never worked for a more disciplined company.

Pros: Advancement based on what you do, not who you know.
