Dr Kara is Amazing!. I am new to the area and was nervous about going to a new doctor, Dr Kara welcomed me with open arms. I felt like she had been my doctor for years! on top of that it was the most thorough visit i have ever had! the staff was vary helpful as well! A++ i wanted to give her a hug!

House Calls Saved Me!. I have 4 kids at home ages 2, 3, 8, and 12 during the Summer, and they are a handful. The 3 youngest were all sick, and getting them to the doctor is always a chore. My doctor couldn't see us until the next week, and I wanted a visit sooner than that. A friend told me about Dr. Kara, and gave me her card, but I lost it somewhere, but I found her online. When I called to make an appointment, Dr. Kara told me that she made house calls! I couldn't believe it! I thought house calls were old history. The thought of managing 3 sick kids for an hour in a waiting room made me queasy as I wasn't feeling great myself. She told me to fill out the forms on her website and she could be out at 4:00 that afternoon. I was thrilled!

When she arrived, she was right on time, and she is so nice! She thought my kids were great and they liked her right away which is something unusual for the 3-year old, let me tell you! She examined each of the kids who were sick, and the suggested a strep test. She also suggested that I be tested and my oldest son who wasn't sick at all be tested. It turns out that we ALL had strep! That is something my regular doctor would have never considered or bothered with. We are all feeling much better now. She also pointed out that my oldest son needed a vaccination before school started because of a new law, and she took care of that while she was out. I would have paid her 5-times as much for all she did for us, and I don't care that I had to file my own claim with my insurance. It was worth not having to go out and getting my whole family taken care of. I was so thrilled with Dr. Kara, that I signed up the family for her VIP program. All I can say is that if you have kids, you need Dr. Kara!
