They saved my wedding

I felt I should share my dress experience. Before visiting dress shoppes, I looked at a million dresses online. I fell in love with a Monique Lhuillier lace gown with lace sleeves. I called Alta Moda only to find out that the dress would be more than double my budget. So I went to another bridal shoppe and tried to match the dress but nothing compared. They showed me a catalog with a gown that looked almost the same, and promised me it would be just as good and half the price. Too good to be true? So I ordered in without ever seeing it. With less than a month before my wedding I find the dress arrive looking incredibly cheap being at least 5" too short. I'm all about shoes and had the perfect pair of 3" heels picked out way before the dress. But even with flats it would have been too short. In the stress and pressure I ordered a second dress I wasn't happy with. Brokenhearted, and with just two weeks to go, I went looking at other bridal shoppes, and gave Alta Moda another try. I knew it was cutting things close, but the staff was very helpful and friendly. I had assumed everything would be over my budget, but they showed me gowns I could afford, and I found one more beautiful than the original dress. Since it was too late to order, they sold me the floor sample, and later that same day I was meeting with the seamstress. The alterations were outstanding, and finished with enough time to still get bridal portraits taken. I felt beautiful, my wedding was saved and I couldn't be more happy. I'd recommend Alta Moda to any bride.

Amazing gowns, better service

Shopping has always been one of my strong points. So, when it came to finding a bridal gown, I though it would be easy. I though I could find a dress on a trip to LA or Chicago, but had no luck any place, until AltaModa. After having sales girls be so rude to me in LA, I finally started looking in Salt Lake and Park City. Going to AltaModa was instantly different. The consultant was funny and smart and listened to what I wanted...not just to what she wanted to sell.

I found a perfect Monique Lhuillier gown. It came out over my budget, but it was soooo worth it. The alterations were amazing. Pamela did a perfect job. The staff has a drink for me each time I came in for alterations and always asked how I was doing with my plans. They are the best place and the only place in Utah worth going.

I love it there

I have so much fun every time I go into Alta Moda for an appointment. I ordered my gown on the first day I went in, but had spent alot of time talking to a few of the employees over the phone first. This was so helpful. They told me what to expect, what to bring, and how long I'd have for my appointment....this made finding my dream dress easy and fun. My mom even got her MOB dress there. When my gown came in (early!) it fit so nice. I only had to have the length changed and ties put in to pull up the train. The seamstress I am working with is so sweet and knows her stuff. And she is being so sweet to get it done really fast.

My engagement is short, only 21/2 months, so I had to pay extra to get my dress faster. Does it really take 4 months to make a dress? Oh well, my friends say this happens at all the shops, so no big deal.

The owner or maybe one of the other girls will be coming to my bridals with me! This is so exciting that the owner would actually do this, because my mom wont be there for them. Now I don't have to worry about keeping my dress clean.

Alta Moda helped with so many things. I am so happy I choose to get my dress there. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.
