Lacey R. - A Great Stylist at Landis!. In the past, I had my hair cut at some of the other "cool" salons in town, and never had an experience or style that justified the expense. I was referred to Lacey R. by my sister, and have been a client for years now. I have two awfully placed cowlicks, that Lacey manages to deal with expertly. I don't have to stress or worry that my cut won't turn out how I envisioned, because Lacey knows her stuff, and even better, she knows what I like. Besides her wizardry with scissors, she has an awesome sense of humor and is fun to be around.
Landis Salons ROCK!. I have been fortunate enough to work with the management and staff of Landis Salons since they opened in November 2005. The management is dedicated to the satisfaction of every client; afterall this is how Landis' success has been maintained for over 6 years. While other salons have struggled during this down turned economy - Landis Salons continues to grow. The issues that surround salon operations are unique...making some challenging to resolve. Customers don't aways communicate well to their stylists and some times (hopefully rarely) stylist may not perceive a clients requests as the client intended. The management always strives to make amends if a client is unsatisfied with their results. The staff is amazing, educated, artistic, and talented; their intent is to help their customers feel wonderful, relaxed, and beautiful. With all the eclectic stylists to choose from, I'm sure there is one that will satisfy you. See for yourself how awesome a privilege being a client feels at Landis Salons.
Lacey Robertson at Landis is the BEST!!!!. I have been going to Landis Lifestyle Salon for about 5 years now. I had my first haircut by a trainee, and it needed a little fixing up. I went in and Lacey fixed my hair, and I have been a loyal client ever since. 5 years and going strong with my favorite stylist! I have very short, thick, and course hair, which most stylists have struggled with... not Lacey, though. She is a magician with her thinning shears and scissors! She makes me look beautiful every time I see her and even let's me come in between appointments for a little trim! She is a wonderful stylist, and a great friend. I wouldn't trade her for anyone else! GO SEE LACEY!!!! You will not be disappointed!
I love Landis. I've been a client of Lacey Robertson for years now. I wear my hair in a faux hawk and Lacey cuts it great every time. Lacey is so fun to talk with and very accommodating with my schedule. If you're looking for a new stylist I would recommend Lacey to everyone!

While I think it is safe to say that every job has its pros and cons, the pros outweigh the cons by far at Landis. I have been a stylist at Landis for about 4 years now. I have never worked anywhere that I love this much! That includes, my co workers, my guests AND my managment team. I don't think that it is fair for an "outsider" to assume there is tension here and that the stylists "hate" their jobs. Landis is a place where we know we are cared for, where our management listens to what we have to say and acts in our best interest. Landis is a place where people WANT to work. It starts from the top and trickles down.
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN A LANDIS AVEDA ESTABLISHMENT IN UTAH! KASSIE HILL THE SO CALLED MANAGER IS A HORRIBLE PERSON AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE WAY SHE DOES "BUSINESS". THIS SO CALLED MANAGER IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO ALL WOMEN. THIS SALON IS BEING RUNNED BY BABOONS AND ONLY BECAUSE OF THEIR STYLIST WILL THEY EXIST. I TRIED GETTING IN TOUCH WITH KASSIE HILL AND SHE WOULD NOT RETURN ANY OF MY CALLS. WHEN YOU STEP IN THE SALON YOU CAN FEEL THE TENSION OF EVERYONE WORKING AND HOW MUCH THEY HATE IT. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SUPPORT LANDIS AND THEIR MANAGMENT

Slap in the face. I made an appointment with Mandi Black for a haircut ($55) almost two weeks ago for the day after Thanksgiving. I got a call from the salon the day before Thanksgiving to tell me that she has gone out of town. What kind of place allows their staff to do this. I can understand if a death or some kind of illness but not this, what a slap in the face.

Hating the haircut. I remember myself asking for a master level stylist when scheduling an appointment, but only realized it was a beginner level who gave me a haircut at checkout. Walked in with the expectation of an awesome haircut from a master stylist, but walked out with great frustration. Now I need to look for another salon to get this awful haircut fixed.

Awesome Experience at Landis. I've always loved the "apprentice" side at Landis, but I had such a great experience Saturday I had to recommend my amazing stylist. It was my first time having Joe. Besides giving me a great haircut and wonderful scalp massage, he gave me advice, styling and product tips, and encouraged me to decide for myself what I should do in the future. Joe gave me a great, personalized experience. I would highly recommend him and I congratulate Landis on such a great find. Thanks!
