A familialarity Chain restaurants can't duplicate. I used to go to Diamond Lil's all the time with my family as a kid. I went back recently to discover it's as good as it used to be! The waitresses are friendly, the atmosphere is nostalgic and homey. It's just like going to grandmas house for Sunday Dinner. I Love it. Oh and their are still dummy's in the restroom, and it still startles me!!!!!

Go somewhere else, anywhere else. In all my years of living in Salt Lake City, never have I eaten such terrible, overpriced food.

For a $25 steak, it should of had some flavor, and not have a can of mushrooms dumped all over it. You can get a better meal at Sizzler for a 1/3 of the price. The salad bar was deplorable with a small of array of carrot salads and noodle salads that looked questionable. I would only ingested any of it if maybe I was on the brink of death from starvation. Oh, and I should mention that a salad bar should at least offer tomatoes. Not one could be found.

The upside, the waitress was wonderful.

If a lesson can be learned, do your homework before selecting a restaurant.

Best steakhouse anywhere!. Am absolutely amazed at the food in this restaurant! The prime rib just melts in your mouth! We eat out a lot, and I am very picky. I absolutely loved the western decor and atmosphere, it's just like the "old west." Staff was friendly and we didn't wait long at all. The salad & soup bar had a nice selection, and the home made pie was fabulous. I peeked upstairs at the banquet room, and it was really neat. I can't wait to go back and get some more prime!

Best Prime Rib I have ever had. This restaurant has the best slabs of steak I have ever had. The service is excellent, and 2nd to few. The drink never hits the bottom and the food has always been hot. If there are any issues, which rarely happen, they are right on top of fixing it. The food usually comes out in a timely manner and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. As I said before "It's the best prime rib I have ever had, and the serving size is HUGE (34 oz or something like that)!"

Best Steaks and prime rib and king crab legs. Best prime i've tasted anywhere. As good or better than Mortons or Lawry's. Love the western decor! A utah original. Help stamp out chain food.

Avoid all together. I would go to Diamond Lils again if I wanted to go back to 3rd grade and eat cafeteria food. This food is horrible to say the least!!! The salad was wilty and there was nothing to it, the baked potato was hard and cold, my 20oz porterhouse that was $26.99 was like a steak from Dennys. Oh yeah don't forget the corn on the cob that was mushy!!!

I will never go back!!
